Richard’s past life is Phillip and the whole thing about Phillip falling for someone causing them to be cursed by a goddess is false, he tricked the goddess into thinking he loved her chasing her to give him her power so he can make Laotel(Ancia’s past life and the goddesses best friend) his despite her married to someone else (Blake’s past life) he uses uses the power to kill Blake’s past life(forgot his name sorry) and then locks up Laotel trying to force her to be his, but loatel says she only loves her husband and no one else cause she knows he killed him. I won’t get into detail but the goddess is dumb as shit, she pisses me off. She gets her self tricked constantly and then gets mad At laotel later on. Phillip hides her inside A dark door and even had his kin continuously keep her locked up so she won’t be able to reveal his sins. In retaliation she puts the words of what she wanted to say on Phillips children’s body Phillip was scared people would see it and kills his kids till he reversed the words and causes it to look like random swirls instead of words and called it a curse, but due to their contracted powers it causes great pain for the children. The goddess cries and cries for Laotel to save her because Laotel has divine light magic, she wasn’t able to so she passed on her magic to her nephew when she passed promising to save her one day. Anyways, Laotel was so disgusted with him that she hated him till her last breath. She put a stone slab at the bottom of a lake telling the small truth of what really happened, but Phillip put magic on it so attack anyone who saw it. Cue in The Novel Ancia who leaned over the lake and saw it after running away from the Cursed Prince. And the slab drowning her for seeing it, Ancia was the original holder of the divine light but in her last breath she passed it to Diana her little sister. But anyways Ancia breaks Blake’s curse with a kiss, but the curse comes back and Ancia remembers her last lives and saves the goddess who was stuck there for thousands of years and even gets mad at Ancia for being so late. She then tries to make Ancia help her kill everyone in the kingdom but Ancia says no since it’s not right and so the goddess accuses her of having fun without her while she was suffering. And makes Ancia give up her life for Blake which she lets her do, she spends 7 years with the stupid goddess during that whole arc and the goddess sends her back in her(the goddess’s) old body and tells her all men are like Phillip and that Blake wouldn’t recognize her, he did and fell in love with her again till finally the goddess gives up and leaves. Right now in the novel everything is all good but Richard is being sus as shit cause he wants to be the emperor and is even willing to kill the emperor and Blake.
Oh and the emperor loves Blake but kept him hidden away due to the nobles, plus he didn’t want Blake getting killed. In the og novel he dies cause Richard tricks him into finding this thing to cure Blake but he passed in the process causing Blake’s uncle (Richards dad) to exceed the throne. Despite being an illegitimate child born from a slave, Richard was the only one who could be the new crown prince cause one of his older brother is married and the other is too young (the whole family is trash sad past or no sad past they kept trying to flirt with the FL despite her being married

( i read the novel but other people may find this boring it loses their excitement knowing the next and crucial part which is the main plot of reason for the story ) l

Idk about u guys but I think yahwi has a reason as to why he’s acting like this. Like his family beating at his back cause he’s an heir while I understand the way he acts is horrid I can’t help rooting for him ┗( T﹏T )┛ I love Yahwi and want him to grow and heal with Jooin, i suspect he can’t show his emotions correctly due to his childhood so that’s why he seems like such an ass. Plus I always have sever first male lead syndrome so I may just be talking out of my ass since i favor him. But I hope jooin picks yahwi and is happy regardless (づ￣ ³￣)づ
As all Yaoi’s go. Of course Yahwi is going to get to be Jooin. That’s literally Yaoi logic when it comes to any love triangle. I personally want growth from Yawhi but I don’t necessarily want him back with Jooin. I am personally rooting for Cain but as these stories usually go he won’t “win”
I also think yahwi's kinda had some trauma or whatsoever with his family, and we all know he doesn't have a good relationship with them. But then again, that doesn't excuse all of the horrible things that he did to jooin. I'd love him to have a character development too but I'd rather have him do it on his own and finally /finally/ realize all of those things that he did to jooin, as well as his feelings for him.
While I understand a lot of people don’t agree, I don’t mind. As all yaoi logic goes. The bad boy will end up with the MC cause in eastern places that’s the favorite trope. And as an easterner myself I can’t help but fall for the same trope ╮(￣▽￣)╭ And since this is a romance manwha they probably won’t go into depth of Yahwi doing sum self evaluation. And obviously once Cain leaves korea he’ll come back heart broken to see Jooin and Yahwi together and probably say something like “as long as Masters happy” or something. I do love this angst and drama tho. So I understand where you’re coming from. But like I said. I’m a complete slut for the first ML’s (〜￣△￣)〜
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t condone what Yahwi has done to Jooin. I’m saying that there’s probably a reason why. But in most yaoi stories they don’t show redeeming quality’s in the tops. Most don’t show them regretting their past actions, regardless I too hope he realizes what he’s done is far from okay. And that he gets back together with Jooin as a better person who can treat him correctly ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

At this point idrc who she ends up with as long as she’s happy. Yall shitting on the current emperor despite him not being the same as the one from tia’s memories. If she wants to be with him that’s her decision and hers alone. We have no say so because it’s her life. Regardless she’s going to end up with him even if u want her to or not. And I know if she followed what she did in the past all of it would’ve been the same. But she didn’t. She changed her future and made him a better person than he was from back then. I'm reading these comments wondering how people thought they made sense when they wrote them like.... how are you blaming him for stuff he never actually done, like make it, make sense. She isn't who she used to be and neither is he, how can any one with eye's not see that... Yeah he's being selfish, but so is she, he don't want to let her go, and even though she clearly knows how he feels, instead of really acknowledging his feelings, rejecting him, and distancing herself, she'd rather swear an oath of love and loyalty, and downplay his feelings as fleeting, I mean neither of them is perfect, but I believe their feelings for each other are genuine, and he shouldn't be judged for decisions he hasn't even made, like so much has changed from the original timeline, but no one seems to understand that fact, not even her, and if you couldn't tell, I'm of the rare few that actually want them to find a way to happiness together, and I think they can.

After reading all the stories the ones where the animals sadly pass away makes me so sad it’s so bitter sweet, the mc is also trying her best to get closer to animals I 100% recommend this to anyone who likes fur babies.
