It is. It has a lot of issues, but it’s not toxic in usual Yaoi way. It’s actually pretty deep and addresses some serious traumas. I guess u could wait till everything is resolved, but I think it’s safe to read too. I don’t read BL often due to toxic nature of most stories, but this one so far seems genuinely good quality.

It's fine to read! It just has some serious stuff such as blackmailing and trauma's and stuff that others can relate tbh this is the first manga that I've
read that's toxic but a very relatable one but again there are many relatable mangas out there I just enjoy this one since it's cute and sad and funny and just entertaining tbh.

Yeah it’s toxic, but like it’s not romanticizing toxicity? I think that makes it different. It’s more psychological

Base from what you said i can pretty much say its tolerable, co'z honestly I've read much worst than this and i can't handle it and just dropped it. This really looks so promising so i just took my time on this one and not rush things and maybe it might grow on me. btw thanks for giving me all your insights. I'll def read this (⌒▽⌒)

Lmk what u can’t handle/what kinda stuff annoys u too much. Cause personally, I really have high standards for BL and grown far less tolerable for dark topics too. So I can let u know some more :)

I don’t read dark stuff, they usually do them bad and end up fetishizing/romanticizing abuse. My recommendations hmmm… my favorite is semantic error (even tho it had one annoying and Yaoi typical scene, but I guess I just had to get used to it by now. They didn’t do it again so there’s that). The recent ones I’ve read is Meteor Orbit, Nerd Project, Guiding Hazard, Boys dormitory 303, Secret Therapy, Love so Pure (side couple is a lot better than main), Full volume. Those are just some of more recent ones. Since I’m very hard on clear consent, those are pretty safe. I barely read any BL rn because most of them are just straight up fetishization of rape. A lot of ones I really liked just turned that way at the very end too so I had to drop them. The most beautiful one, and not toxic at all, was a webtoon called December Rain. Sad, but beautiful.

I've read December Rain and its just so nice! idk how to explain it in words but its just soo good. it makes me remind of Fools. at first i was hesitating to read it co'z some people deem it as tragic(?) idk why but i kind of regretted it that i didn't read it at that time. A slow-burn and a typical Korean college life setting. its very wholesome not that angst-y and def not toxic. It's been a while since the last time I've read it and there might be some kind of important key points that i missed and i remembered enjoying it... so i hope you will too. (▰˘◡˘▰)
