This is actually a really good story, but the art isn't able to fully convey its strengths. If the visual storytelling were better (like in the manhwa Reunion), I bet people would rate this much higher. I also think the pacing should have been slower so readers could really feel the emotions when reading the characters' POVs.
The MC is a well-written character because he's realistically flawed. I know people like him (classmates in uni) who are very academically competitive, a little conceited and selfish, and focused on survival because of difficult family backgrounds (an alcoholic mother and poverty), but not evil or beyond redemption.
I can also relate to how he feels when I'm around friends with loving, warm families because mine isn't like that either. I sometimes feel out of place, though unlike the MC, I don't feel envious or resentful. I just feel sad that I wasn't dealt a better hand.
I'm glad I came across this again today because I lost my bookmarks. I've read it before but never rated it, so I'm giving it a 5. My actual rating is 4/5, but the current rating is way too low so I want to help balance it because it deserves better than some of the toxic, abusive manhwa filled with rape and other harmful relationship dynamics that somehow score higher. (And yes, I read those too.)
ML didn't even confess his feelings to the MC, and he blames the MC for rejecting him. Dude, MC is not a mind reader, and you also lied to him about the name on his body.
The ex-fling looks like the MC, lol. Also, considering he was mistaken about the ML and his girl crush dating before, I think it might also be a misunderstanding that the ML and that guy who looks like him ever had a fling.
The MC is so innocent. During their first sexual experience, he doesn't really seem to understand what's happening. He knows it feels good, but he also knows something about it is wrong.
Meanwhile, the ML is constantly visiting him, bringing him food, and outright admits that he's doing all that because he wants to fuck him. Maybe the MC is technically an adult, but the whole dynamic feels uncomfortable because there's such a huge imbalance in experience and understanding. It feels like grooming.
I've read a lot of toxic BLs, but this one gives me the feeling of an adult targeting a naive and vulnerable kid (the ML also calls him a kid) because he wants to have sex with him.
I love how both the MC and ML are genuine green flags who stand on equal footing. They're independent, competent, and excellent at their jobs.
Manhwas feel so saturated with morally gray characters these days, and I worry that younger, impressionable readers might start seeing toxic personalities and codependent or obsessive relationships as romantic. This story is such a refreshing change.
The art is beautiful, and the writing is good. Taegun's backstory is so infuriating I wish he finds the ex and throws him in a dungeon.
I also just finished reading Jinx and I found myself wishing Mingwa (the artist) had collaborated with a writer, because her art is amazing but writing is not her strength.
All that suffering (both Dan and the readers) for just a few chapters of a rushed happy ending. I stuck with the toxic story because I wanted to see Dan finally be happy, so I hope the side stories give us more of that.
Mingwa's art is amazing, and I honestly hope she collaborates with a writer in the future. While she's clearly a talented artist, writing doesn't seem to be where her strengths lie. Her artwork deserves a much stronger story.
Lol guys I don't think it's the cardboard panda that hurt him, it's the impact on his wrist when he rushed to shield the kid. But yes, this is such a minor injury, the author could've written a better incident to justify the ML being so worried about the MC.
Someone below suggested Muyeol bottoming for his manager, and I know the manager deserves better, but I also wonder why Muyeol hasn’t tried to get the manager into bed. Chani chani has a point, the manager is more handsome than Seokjun and is probably more of Muyeol's type considering he wants to sleep with Chani chani. Are we seeing a second couple? I never really thought about it until I saw the comment below.
Muyeol changing and becoming a better person after falling in love with someone so pure-hearted would be a good story. But author-nim might not have time to write that, considering how slow our two MCs’ romance is progressing. So this is just my fanfic idea.

I'm tired of the Kujo plot. I just want them to talk about what happened in the past. Author-nim should give Seunghyun a better reason for why he didn't come and get the "guy he lost his heart to." We (readers and Yuta) need a better, acceptable, heart-wrenching reason!
Then they should make up. And Yuta should get the surgery and we should be given many extra chapters of him and SH living happily ever after.
It seems like Jaehyuk is the only one still holding on to the relationship. Garam already wanted to grieve the breakup. I really need Garam to overcome his fears and do the chasing this time. It’s always Jaehyuk chasing, and say what you want about his childish antics, but he’s still holding on. And yes, I understand Garam has trauma and all, but right now, I'm just as frustrated with him as Jaehyuk is.
