The focus is on political intrigue and in my opinion the plot is extraordinarily crafted. The mc isn’t a wimpy fuck. This main character is a hermaphrodite. He is kinda bisexual( I think?) but there is gay sex and the later on relationship isn’t all to overpowering, but rather serves the plot. But to sum up it’s a good story with romance sprinkled in, rather than it being a focal point. Please give it a go.

Its really interesting and its been i while since i was that interested in a story. You should give it a try :)

I may be misremembering but it’s in my top 3 mangas of all time not just yaoi. It really does resonate. A lot if people die if you’re into it. The begging isn’t the best I think, don’t remember, but still a true must read. Read it! At least give the first like ten chapters a shot. There are also time skips. Nothing to do with Harry Porter lol. Honestly give it a try!
If you want I can tell you a spoiler or something that may motivate you to read it, but I beg you read this masterpiece! (You liked Moritat, but this is also semi psychological)
