Yes, Hyungwoo did take it a little too far by saying too much since he knows Hamin likes Ryeojoon.
However, I do understand his side, and Hyungwoo is not homophobic. I find shipping irl people weird, but I don't care as long as it's harmless fun. It's when you start invading lives with your fanfic does it turn into a problem.
I'm sure idols and celebrities are fully aware of fanfic, but not all of them are comfortable with it. Fanfic (especially if it's one that's sexual) is NOT something you should gift unless you 100% know the person(s) is okay with receiving it. There's a difference between saying two people look cute together, and never shutting up about it.
Imagine if someone you know kept on shoving fantasies they have of a friend you're close to into your face. You don't want that person making things weird between you and your friend either by constantly bringing it up; or even ruining the friendship. I think this is how Hyungwoo feels.
I don't know if I've done a good enough job of explaining myself; I am bad at putting my thoughts into words. Hyungwoo was wrong by how he handled it, but I don't think he's a bad person despite sounding like an asshole.
I dunno, something about Doc saying he's going to "do what he wants" to Noah is a bit creepy. Noah is a victim of abuse and manipulation since he was a child, so that wording doesn't paint Doc in the best light. As others have said, too, the art style looks more rushed; as if the author thinks sex is all that matters. Constant fucking is tiring. I want to see Noah and Doc bond. I feel no chemistry between them and it feels like fuck buddy strangers.
I have read plenty of toxic relationship comics. A lot are done well, but not all are. It is not an easy concept to portray. I don't think it's the author of this story's intention to make Doc and Noah seem like a toxic relationship. Maybe they're aiming for more unstable and unhealthy, but the way they're portraying it makes it seem more toxic. I didn't mean to be rude or offensive with my original comment, so please do not make assumptions about people all because of a comic. People are allowed to have different opinions and thoughts, and that's what make discussions fun. I do not hate the comic, but I am also allowed to express flaws in what I enjoy.
I have to laugh at Carter calling Giselle a child for wanting a divorce when he has hit her, abused her physically/mentally/emotionally, nothing short of a rapist when Giselle doesn't want it, cheating with a prostitute who now works as a maid in their home, and letting that head maid Sophie treat Giselle like dirt. In addition to expecting a baby out of Giselle.
People like him are all about control, manipulation, and keeping up appearances! Fuck that guy and Roxy, but they're already doing that plenty with each other. I hope Roxy chokes on Carter's rocks and he cartwheels off a cliff! (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
Saying someone has a right to cheat is kinda rocky ground, but I understand you. Cheating is still wrong no matter what and looks bad on you for giving in, but there are a few cases where I won't think badly of someone for it. I'd still never be able to get into a relationship with them myself because I'd be worried about them cheating on me if they become bored or unhappy. Carter definitely deserves worse, and I wish Isaac had acted on his imagination of killing Carter. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Before anyone gets cross with me or picks a bone with me, let me say I do not hate this manga. I do think that it's really too slow, especially since we're 22 chapters in and nothing significant really happened.
Exactly! Imagine watching a show for 22 episodes, only for it to be at this spot; that's like an entire season in of itself. I feel like there's a lot of repetition which could have been condensed, so it could be shortened to maybe 8 chapters. Or maybe sections which could have been cut with nothing being impacted or lost.
Right! I know Noah's case and situation may not be easy, but if Doc is serious about helping or getting to know Noah, he'd do everything he can to get Noah out. I don't blame Noah at all because his mind has been warped since he was a child into thinking this is how he should behave. I want Doc to stop fucking and start helping finally after 22 chapters. Hopefully the next one has a change.
I understand Kyouji suffered trauma in the past, but that doesn't give him an excuse to act like an asshole to Nagisa. I had a very rough, abusive life growing up, and I don't treat people like this. I'm surprised Kyouji hasn't just kicked out Nagi if he's such a bother. I hope Kyouji has a damn good reason for the way he acts, since we're already so many chapters in. Nagi has been nothing but kind and patient so far.

THIS is how you handle an unexpected confession! Not letting the other person leave and having 50+ drama chapters of the misunderstanding it causes.
