Without spoiling, can someone tell me if the top is soft and nice? I'm a sucker for cold-on-the-outside-gentle-in-the-inside tropes. Or is he just an asshole? :(
Oof, uh, no ^_^; I mean kinda? He’s a genuine asshole most of the time, though he does occasionally do things behind the scenes to help the main character out. And when he finally realizes his feelings, I still wouldn’t call him soft and nice for most of his pursuit. He’s naturally kind of cold and he’s bad at expressing emotions on his face, but there are like two frames where you can see him being vulnerable on his face, and he does hug the main character with genuine concern like once or twice
He’s a red flag but he isn’t as bad as the seme from jinx

"Two frames" and "once or twice" is crazy, considering it's 80+ chapters long I think I'm gonna push through till maybe chapter 30....I'm ngl even the uke is infuriating ☹ Did u like the manhwa yourself? Like, if u could go back in time, would you recommend it to your past self?
Oh yeah, he is really frustrating! It’s always kind of sad to see main characters be bratty and pathetic. I think that this story at least makes it very human, as this story at least has the main character note to himself that he’s being self contradictory and pathetic. Honestly it was a very average read. I happen to be a fan of chasing/begging for forgiveness type stories, and someone said in a different novel that they wished the chasing arc in that story was as good as the one in this one, which is why I read it, and honestly it’s kind of not that good. I don’t regret reading it exactly, but most series in this genre do everything this story does but better

The seme clearly draw the line and told the uke from the beginning that he only use uke for revenge against his family. Along the way, the uke catches feelings since the seme kinda treat him well. So when the uke got rejected and pull away, the only then the seme start the chasing part.
I wouldn't say he is a jerk, he just tok focus on the initial goal of taking revenge more than seeking romance
From what I remember, the uke sucked off the seme while he was sleeping. The seme woke up and rightfully felt violated. The broke off their friendship. Years later, in college, they met again. The uke pretended that he didn't do anything to seme, and seemed to want to reconcile.
Anyone remember the title of this manga? I think it was Japanese (as opposed to a mahwa)

It depends on the device you use. I think if you're using android it doesn't work, and you have to get a keyboard app to use the tags. Forgot which app it was though ╥﹏╥

Ohh I don't like that. Skylar's attitude towards Cirrus is harsh and unpleasant. Cirrus may be acting a wee bit obsessive over Skylar, but like he said, he just wants Skylar to show him he cares. Violently pushing him away, bickering with him daily, and rejecting his invites...is he even TRYING with Cirrus? I hope Cirrus and his best friend make up. From what it is at the moment, I just hate Skylar. It was better when they weren't together.
Hate is a strong word. Maybe you were too angry while writing this. Also don’t worry, spoiler, things will get better the next chapter after 102 I believe. Haha the author just playing with our feelings.
Skylar is a little more closed off as for Cirrus, he’s a little more open because he craves for attention and affection which he’s never gotten as a kid.
Admittedly, yes, I was fuming while reading the recent chapter lol. Going from reading about two characters who would absolutely do anything for each other to this nonsense was an unpleasant whiplash for sure. I'm glad to hear things will get better. But unless Skylar steps up big time, I'll continue to look at him in a bad light. Especially since I read from previous comments that he'll do something terrible to Cirrus in the upcoming chapters! I am SO not looking forward to that! (No spoilers please!)
