I never thought I would be so invested in this , but what I like is how we can see the mental capacity of the uke litteraly deteriorating because of the abuse. I like that we see the confusion, the fear and the state of depression he is in. It change from similar story where the uke ends up liking the seme after being abused without really stoping at what this type of abuse do to someone’s head. I am no saying this is an accurate representation because i wouldn’t know, but I like that all he does to soothe the same is mainly because he litteraly is walking on egggshels all of the time or being fucked to oblivion ( rape ) so his brain litteraly don’t have the time or energy for anything else really. I really hope he will able to escape but am not sure he will ever be able to recover from all that

Exactly! I also like the general confusion he is in! He is semi aware that something in him is different but he doesn’t understand what is going like that moment when they were talking about how much he sleeps and he was like” now that you think of it , I have moment where I can do nothing but sleep “ . I was like “ that’s probably depression from the trauma and the mental exhaustion “. I also like how we see his mindset slowly going from “ eat shit I do what I want “ to “ what can I do to make the same happy? Why isn’t it happy I don’t understand. I’m exhausted “ I also enjoy how unstable the same is, making the situation for the uke even more exhausting because he is to unpredictable. It’s clear that there is no love , wich I appreciate, and that there is a clear codependent relationship between the two that is clearly sourced from the abusive situations and not some falling in love because we get to know each other trope. Instead we see ho the uke is holding onto the same because he is acclimating to the abuse and his brain is changing itself to the abuser so to not break completely. Anyway can’t wait for the next chapter
