honestly the length isn't even the problem for me, in my opinion, her mom's backstory was probably the best part, but i feel like i have no idea what her plan is anymore. the plot isn't developing, like she's been making progress in knowing what happened w her brother but i feel like she's not doing anything with it?
somehow while having a 67 joke and a ridiculous amount of dick jokes theres also the underlying plot of fenrir EATING THE GRAND DUKES BODY TO BECOME HIM LIKE A FREAKING ANALOG HORROR AND CONSUMING THE WORLD TO TURN BACK TIME AND EVERYBODY HAS THESE WEIRD DEJA VU MOMENTS BECAUSE THEY CAN ALMOST REMEMBER
i feel like eleceed has gone on for too long and has lost its initial appeal. now its just jiwoo fighting, healing, getting stronger and repeat, but hes lost his overall character of the highschool boy with friends and hes not even the person who cares for stray cats anymore. Even the people around him have been dumbed down, kayden changed from the egotistical fighter to one more laid back and one that actually feels experienced in teaching despite being alone for most of his life. somehow everybodys character depth went down the drain
Not to say that you’re necessarily wrong, but at the same time, that’s what a story and good character do. They grow, change, and have their own arcs where it becomes different from where it started. Kayden used to only care about himself and fighting, but now he cares a lot about not only Jiwoo, but also about Kartein, Pluton, and even Gestella. Same goes for Jiwoo, he used to see his awakened ability as a curse that plagued his life, now he’s accepted himself and realized something that he loves to do.
Again, you aren’t completely wrong, some characters like the side characters have been pushed back a little and haven’t gotten much time to shine or really grow. But, with the other characters and part of the story it’s just doing what a story does, change.
I really think that yuseongs confession not being answered doesn’t matter all too much or at least it doesnt impact the story because in the end everybody is happy and the overal story doesn’t focus on romance it focuses on bigger topics like the need for women to change themselves to fit expectations so personally 10/10 ending included

oh my god dalton don't look at me like that im wettt holy shit
