It's not that we hate the CBAW manhwa itself, it's the story line for S5, it's unnecessarily angsty and the author should've gone for the wholesome fluffy route LIKE THE MANHWA IS LITERALLY KNOWN FOR, and all of a sudden not even a few chapters in there's already so much angst and red flags happening to our beloved comfort manhwa, and I've made a whole comment on how the author could've made S5 without any angst or red flag dramas while still being entertaining and keeping it's title as the fluffiest manhwa ever

Maybe the author is testing their relationship? Like seeing if their love can survive extreme pressure (like what is going on with Haebom). Maybe the author is also aiming for their character development? With Haebom's disappearance and Taesung's Vulnerability.
And maybe it's angsty so that it's not all fluff??? Idk but don't get me wrong, I love a bl that's all fluff (like idk muhyeok and naui), but for an all fluff bl, their relationship should be tested, in a not so fluffy way to create depth in the story.

But idk that's just what I can gather from the bls that I read or have read. ╥﹏╥

But I'm pretty sure that specific thing already happened in previous seasons, like Taesung and Haebom has literally been SAd on separate occasions by other people, I think that's extreme pressure enough, they both show consideration, understanding and empathy for one another when that traumatic experienced happened, I literally shook in despair when Taesung got SA in that office arc, Haebom's situation was just as horrible during the college arc too but in the end they both overcame it together emotionally

That’s a really fair point, I forgot how heavy those past arcs got. ╥﹏╥ I guess for me, I'm just hoping this new conflict leads to a different kind of growth or a stronger endgame for them, rather than just angst for the sake of angst. But I totally get why it feels repetitive and exhausting if you just wanted the fluffy S5 we were promised. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

They're both alphas so I don't think they can do the usual marking like alphas to with their Omegas
