Some people are just now reading this for the first time, stop putting spoilers in the comments that’s such a garbage thing to do
I have to assume these spoilers are coming from the novels because I searched for further chapters and this is all caught up on the site it’s chapters are being sold on but if people read the novels (which I haven’t found for free, and frankly that’s fair I would want to support the author) and come here and tell everybody what’s gonna happen when the story progresses that’s not okay. They should be putting a spoiler warning at the top or talking about it on a blog for the novels not here.
Imagining a world where black dye completely and flawlessly washes out in one shower.
Also, this plot has become a bit obvious. Clearly his “father” and the “woman” on his arm that redhead was talking about is him and Sicas. It’s probably him that saved Sicas as a child too, that’s why she called him “swordsman”, and he said “we will meet again soon”. Even Sicas’ brother had a memory of a woman with pink hair. I’m curious to see how the time loop gets broken though because if everything stays the same in the past they will just keep ending up in this situation.
I agree with everyone else about how unlikable this arc is. However, I have a prediction for the future of this story. I truly believe the author is setting this up for suwon to die and Hak and Yona to take back over the throne. I believe this story will end with them being married and the dragons staying with them in the castle. This story has been going on for YEARS now, give the author some credit. For YEARS they have tested the limits of their imagination, ability and artistry. I know it’s disappointing to see the story going down hill, and for me I feel like it’s becoming predictable but Akatsuki No Yona has had a wonderful run overall, I’m so glad I started reading it - it’s one of my favorites and I’ll stick with it until the end.
There were a lot of loose ends that didn’t get tied up, like, did they ever find the medics records showing his brother caused his head trauma? Did he ever get his memories back? It was kind of implied his intelligence was coming back, but there was no actual follow up to that either? What was the brothers sentence? The end of this felt a little rushed, and honestly a little boring. It went from so many exciting plots and character developments to just mushy fan service.
