I dropped this after the art changed but there are few things I wanna know about, like what happened to the sister who was writing the books? I think we have completely lost the plot here and I feel like the characters have deviated so far from what they used to be, they are almost unrecognizable. I reread the earlier chapters and now it feels like the MCs don't even care about their original motivation as much
I think so as well :(( I'm ok with new art, tho I miss the previous one, the characters were so much more expressive and unique. About the plot tho... I might just be overly critical because of art change, I know that the author's still the same, but I can't help but think that... It's a bit... lame. The characters say everything out loud, they're not scheming and calculative at they were before. The solutions to the questions aren't that surprising as they used to, and accidents don't make any sense. I mean... why did they make Kyle fall ill just from rescuing one girl? The prince, soldier with 5-6 years of experience on the battlefield, uses aura just to save little girl from the well and misjudged his own abilities, falling into coma that could have lasted even 20 years? The cunning Hans Button reveal all his thought process before some subordinate in which he changes his mind 3 times and first solution to why Tara refused his offer, was that she give Kyle some "favours"? It all just sounds so... simple... out of character... I just miss the suspense and drama. Even more so since I reread the whole story before reading 3rd season ;-;
Well, the art is the reason I am sticking to the novel. I just checked on the latest chapter (which I was letting it marinate) and I didn't even recognize Tara.
And ew, Kyle, what did they do to you? We're been on nine months to the so-called end for 60-70 chapters, my dude. Ain't no way you look that buff in less than a month. I don't like how they made his eyes so small either.
The chapters are so long and I really enjoy older mangas for that reason but honestly this was too much. I think the repetition wasn't really necessary and made me lose interest cuz ofc I'm used to the newer webtoons and they are honestly much more concise. Also didn't enjoy a lot of things but ofc it was written in 1992 so I can't judge it by today's standards.
If you are someone looking for a quick read, it's not for you. Also I would say don't binge read, YOU WILL BE BORED! Take your time with it and I think it's a solid 4/5
It looks so cute but I don't like whats happening from the first chapter itself, like the sunbae rapes him and then literally keeps him from leaving his house. It just doesn't sit well with me, I guess I'm just too sensitive but I can't look past rape. Especially coming from a culture where rapist get away after marrying their victims, idc if it's fiction or whatever.
No wonder I dropped this years ago , I forgot why I did but now it makes sense, I came back after hearing my classmates rave about the fluff but I can't even get to the fluff
I agree I wish they would change that chapter specifically in the way that it went. I wish that he genuinely liked him and more you know like he’s the one initiated something and they weren’t actually that drunk and they were both equally a little bit tipsy but clearly rational enough. I would’ve been OK with that not what happened really more like the older I got because I wrote this when I was really young the less unless I could actually deal with it

There was absolutely no need for them to meet when the younger dude was a legit child. Forgive me for not remembering their names but man the only reason I read few chapters is because I had faith in brothers without a tomorrow and it's been on featured for a week or so ig
The story would have been the same if they met later, like let's say when the younger dude was an adult? The same author has written age gap relationship before so I bet know how to do it without it being this creepy. The only reason the younger dude is into the older guy is to avoid the pdf file accusations, change my mind. Literally took 0 convincing for the older guy to touch the other guy too like wtf???
Crazy how I can't see people pointing that out but oh well. Dropped.
The fuck you mean they literally met for like not more than a month when shuraka was a kid. And haven't seen each other for YEARS up until suraka became king.
Plus Tei was literally not seeing him as a romantic/sexual partner until now. WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT
Goodness, you're not helping our case. They were together for 2/3 years when Shu was a kid, so Tei practically took part in raising him. It IS kinda weird, even if Tei didn't have any feelings. Let's just enjoy it amongst ourselves and let people drop or do whatever they want w it
If they didn’t meet when they were younger, Shuraka could never trust Tei. One of the only reasons Shuraka trusts Tei is because Tei trusted and protected him when he was just a little boy. If he didn’t, he would be just another pink hair wannabe loved dude.
Are you illiterate? Or were you reading with your eyes closed? Like how did you come to this conclusion of Tei being a pdf file??? Tei didn't show any attraction to Shuraka as a child AT ALL
While I do see your point, it's still weird cause yk adults also start trusting each other after they meet when they are adults. Personally as someone who was groomed, I don't like the narrative that a child was so in love with someone they met 14 years ago and stayed that way just cause they trust them. Also I'm not saying the other guy groomed him.
It's just because of my own experiences, I find the story uncomfortable, respectfully.
Bro legit i never said that?? I said the only reason he is shown to not have affection towards the other guy in the beginning is to avoid allegations?? But literally the next time he sees him they start doing some sexual stuff, that legit happened in the story so idk what you are on about
Oh! I apologise. I never had such experience to relate to you.
