- what in the shortest face-off on planet earth was that?
- him not batting an eye to her confession, but I'm scared this would be like aot and they would be like "and he loved her all along" type of shit in the end. I can't trust this author, the story is already out of hand.
- oh, so they conveniently have everything ready, when they didn't even have a plan some few chapters ago? Ok.
- the fate of humanity, in the hands of 2 teen boys with mental issues.
- still not over the Mika is Yu and Yu is Mika bs, I wish that never happened.
- they do realize that the "smackdown" haven't happened yet, right? Why r they facing off?
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! They just wanted Yu to be the most important character! Everything here is about him! Plz, we didn't careeee not one soul on this earth thought this plot twist was good, relevant, or important. And look, here they r trying to decide who to sacrifice if shit hit the fan??? I thought it had to be Mikaela or humanity?? Why r they just choosing whoever now, like what??
Straight up lying, not thinking about her feelings, selfish and entitled, a whiny bitch, horny street dog and everything one could never love in a man. He didn't even respect the one wish she had of getting married b4 having sex. He even went and told her to retire and just stay at home to give him love and children. And this girl agreed??? Mind u she just found out he lied to her on the same day??? Oh, and the first time when she asked for protection and he was like "it's fine, I want u to have my child" buddy nOooOooOo! No one here care about u!! It's SHE who'll carry that baby, did u ask for her permission??? Ugh, everything pissed me off. It started well enough, but his ass of a personality just had to shine through.
They skipped the cute parts where Maddie and Knox were visiting Astrid everyday in the attic to keep his company damn, it was so cute.
Also the part where Nina and Knox met randomly in a hallway for the first time. I think he was talking with Maddie without his disguise and she was going to talk to Maddie. Can't remember exactly... but Knox had to improvise so much since he was 2 ppl then lol.
Oh, and how at the fire, Yuli did get Astrid and leave at Maddie's insistence, but he did come back for Maddie. There was more of an impact in the novel, since Maddie thought it's fine to die but was sad about being left behind. And was really happy when Yuli didn't leave her. I think it was a big point of her falling for him. Since she realized he would never leave her to face death alone.
Also that kiss at the end *maybe spoilers? Since it hadn't ended yet lol* Yuli pretended to kiss her, since he already confessed to her and didn't want things to be awkward. And Maddie was disappointed he didn't kiss her, and thought he didn't WANT to kiss her (???) Like girl, plz

I haven't finished the novel yet, but one thing that's so funny to me (though infuriating af sometimes) is all the mind farts mental gymnastics Ian is always doing to make blondie seem evil in his head.
Ian loves Michele, he's just in denial <3
Yes, Denial. He's swimming in that river full speed, against the current, refusing to get out or go down. never seen a better swimmer in my life.
