Hell nah they got back together, the ML never once stopped pissing me off with how he just kept controlling her life. I'd rather she moved on and did what she truly wanted and he can just be miserable by himself with his shiny army. There are lines you shouldn't cross and once he did, he didn't deserve to be with her. And even after that he kept crossing lines like it was nothing. Only caring about himself with an excuse that it was for her. Fuck that guy.
Author really seems to like pseudo incest T.T First it was "father/son" and now "brothers". It seems like the top is some supernatural being who hypnotized everyone into thinking he's the bottom's brother, because being family gave him the easiest access to the bottom. The pacing was so bad, the novel has more details and internal thoughts, without this the story feels shallow. They even changed or cut out some scenes so the flow became disrupted...
Am I the only one who felt like the art in S2 was an upgrade? The artstyle is very close to S2, but the new shading and lightning made me stare at every other panel in awe lol
