Ahh I came here after reading the novel, I'm sad I didn't get to see Hyunmook with long hair or some of the other scenes but it's still really good hehe

Ahh so many things omitted from the novel T.T The novel has several chapters showing both espers & their relationship with Hajung as well as the time in between those guys when Hajung was alone T.T We even see a scene between original Hajung and ML where he's a wreck because of the rain and ML carries him in a blanket and begs him to eat... And then we later see the scene between new Hajung and ML, which basically has you thinking "Omg, he's treating him like the original Hajung". And a lot of context is gone because Hajung has a lot of thoughts about everything that's going on and we even get some ML pov as well, but here Hajung does something and we don't really know why, but in the novel he'd have several paragraphs about his thoughts and feelings!!!

I really tried to read this but the art is clunky with showing motion and I almost fell asleep reading this

Guwon is super terrifying because he's not just an asshole who does evil things because he likes it, he has no morality standards in his head so he just ends up doing things without thinking and he doesn't know that in a society they'd be considered wrong or harmful. And everyone ended up going along with it so he never got challenged, even though by the first interactions of Guwon and teach, you can see that he's open to learn even if the truth is not agreeing with his view, as long as there is an explanation behind it that'd make it easier for him to grasp why other people think this way. I don't think he can fully regain people's trust after what he'd done but I like character development so I wish that teach just explained shit to Guwon openly, but doesn't seem like teach realizes that Guwon is actually willing to listen and learn, even though Guwon agreed with teach when teach told him Guwon was wrong. In other scenarios I'd be okay with Guwon being killed but I don't think I'd be safe for the town since Guwon is holding everything together. Instead, if someone explained everything to him, he could actually try to be a good leader (because he does want to be a good leader, it's just that he thinks that he's already good like he is) and apologize, properly try to make up for his wrongs. People would still resent him and that's completely valid, but at least they wouldn't suffer anymore if Guwon stopped with his shit.

I'm frustrated T_T

The author probably only had a chance to publish one volume of this story, so I don't understand why they'd add a second couple instead of doing two couples and not fleshing out either. I never really get the point of having multiple couples in the same story, could've just saved it for another work and flesh out the main couple better, but still, I did enjoy the first couple even though their story felt more like an intro to a manga rather than a full story!

I could write a really long comment on why even though some things were a little off in the story, it was still a great story. But I'm just gonna say that I have to assume people defending Chance and saying everything is Henry's fault must lack media literacy or dropped this in the middle or something because everyone got what they deserved in the end, good or bad, and Chance didn't end up as badly with how some people are freaking out, imo he got let off the hook too easy in fact.

Anyway, I read this a few years ago and reread it because I forgot what it was about and I enjoyed it both times. Just wished to see more of the actual relationship at the end.

Idk why people hate Jaemin but feel bad(?) for Soohyun. Both were nice to Daon at first, then knowingly proceeded to hurt him in both similar and different ways. Jaemin was definitely more mentally abusive but Soohyun was also manipulating Daon WHILE being physically abusive. Even if he was mad, you shouldn't treat someone you like like that and even without Jaemin interfering, this side of Soohyun would probably come out at some point. So none of them were able to treat Daon right. And Daon... sigh. Do I even need to say how frustrating it was seeing him wander around like a lost baby chick.

Any recs for BLs that are very angsty and heartbreaking, with a plot thats not bland and all over the place, but at the same time it has a happy ending and the top isn't an unforgivable rapist? I love slowburns but it doesn't have to be one. Also it has to be written in bottoms POV.

There's something wrong with the last chapter cuz all I can see is GREEN

The idea is cool and I like the character dynamic but the writing is so bad I keep laughing at everything, it just looks so absurd "I want to cherish him" (proceeds to throw himself at him without consent)
Also the way the tops acting like they've been married for 10 years (with how dramatic he is) when it's only a few chapters THE WAY HE WAS HOLDING OUT HIS HAND WHEN HE HAD THIS WHOLE INSIDE MONOLOGUE, SO AWKWARD LOL
