Haesun really does look like he's itching to be free, but he shows emotions, like he cares about Eunha. Specifically at Chap-9 and 8, and 19 too. I mean I'm pretty sure he's elated that finally he can "be free" but him and Eunha are so similar in circumstances, he says "we're both abandoned lonely" and that's why he's so latch on. I hope he overcomes his vengeful fuel mode while Eunha becomes the vengeful one, I mean these two can be hella codependent on each other
I know that MC doesn't end up with anyone, and the romance thingy was supposed to be open ended even though heavily hinting that Wolf boy was supposed to be endgame.
BUT HOLY SHIT AM I ROOTING FOR BLONDIE, HE'S HUNKY, HE'S PRETTY. HE'S GOT CROWS FEET, SAME AGE AS EUNHA, ONLY PERSON WHO CAN RELATE TO EUNHA HE WAS BUILT FOR HER
I love their artstyle evolution, like IT'S SO BITEABLE. And I think Richard dissociated there, it's been foreshadowed in a couple of chapters of how he just zones the fuck out a lot when it's something serious and thinks "How should I do this?" "What is the normal response?". Bro, zoned out so much with the death pressure of his dick like bruh, it's an uncormfortable scene (glad it's fictional and was portrayed right) and it has depth with just so few scenes. Art is made to comfort the DISTURBED and DISTURBE the comforted sth sth

Like the starting chapter does seem annoying like it's building this protagonist as cool and suave and macho. But he actually has emotions, and not only that other characters around him are also solid not just props. There's no weird ass romance, it straight up went to family bonds, and breaking every incel's expectation. It's not hammering in the alpha male narrative, it's hammering in the fact that this is a story about a man who cares about his dad, sister, uncles, aunties, seniors, and in a way even himself; and he's doing everything in his arsenal to make a happy ending for all. Also lmao he's jealous of his mini version receiving headpats from his old pops.
