i just got spoiled about the latest chapter on youtube from a video's title AND BRUH I'VE NEVER BEEN SO MAD ABOUT A SPOILER BEFORE
with the scissors is crazy bc i would never cut off acrylics that way
olgruggio and qifrey's relationship is a mirror to custas' and his father's although their relationships are different. we learn that the tree on custas's legs start to engolf him if he feels peace so his father offered to basically die or make custas forget every single good memory. and then we learn that time and time again, olruggio has had the same reaction to qifrey also sharing the same symptoms, so he makes qifrey seal away his memory so he stews in his depression. UGHHHH THIS STORY IS SO WELL WRITTEN. the worst reality for custas and his dad is the one that qifrey lives with every day UGHH. makes me wonder what he would have thought if he were there when they were making that decision
