I regretted why i chose to read this now. But at the same time, I felt sad that it ended becauss I want more of their stories, where they live happily. I am happy and relieved that they are still together despite what they've been through. Overall, it was a good read. I like how the plot was well written, the characters development, especially Lima and Sak. This will be one of my treasured stories. Hands down to this. 1000000000/10

Ok so this is a really tricky story. But i summarized it according to what I have perceived in this story. This may not be accurate but I think this could somehow help if you're confused after reading the story.
So all of that happened, from them meeting at 15 till they become adult, in reality of course. But Law become obsessed with Jesse. And Jesse can't accept Law because he doesn't consider him as his equal. And ge noticed how Law changed because of his obsession. And so Law created "Moritat" to know or read Jesse's mind about him. All that happened being in the snow mansion was in VR, and not in their true reality. It was created for Jesse because Law wanted to know what Jesse thinks of him. And it repeated several times because Law can't have the result that he wanted. But at last, Jesse was awakened and faced the truth, their reality. All of that VR thing or Moritat has only passed only a day in their reality sinced the day they met after 5 years of separation. He dranked the tea and was placed in that simulation together with Law. After all those realization, Law can't still forget the feeling he felt after saying that he become tired of wanting Jesse. And he came back to where he first saw the VR years ago created by Jesse. And also Jesse realized something. I don't think its love, but he also came back to Law. And that's all it was.
No we have to realize Law is an unreliable narrator and extreme people please with serious anxiety and an inferiority complex and Jesse did love him when they were kids he just had a lot of pride and didn’t know how to get through to Law because honestly it was take a professional. Law thought Jesse always looked down on him and while it may have started like that Jesse grew to love him but wouldn’t compromise himself for Law. Because he wouldn’t compromise and become a crying dependent mess for Law, Law could not believe Jesse. Then when Jesse realized his moms plot he sent Law away to protect him even if it meant them cutting ties (because he already thought what he and Law had couldn’t be fixed anyway because of Laws issues). But Law thought Jesse betrayed him when really Jesse tried to send him away and cut all ties to protect him. But in the end Jesse’s mom got her hands on Law. Law being obsessed and never having gotten help with his anxiety or inferiority complex develops technology inspired by the prank Jesse pulled as a kid so he could keep Jesse next to him but also to take out his anger and confusion (mental illness) on him just to realize none of it made him feel better. At that point he becomes totally lost on what to do because he has been his obsession all this time so without it he feels empty. Jesse realizes Law can’t be helped and is just so mentally ill but still obsessed and decides to go back and stay with him despite it all because he does care for him. It’s such a sad story because Laws trauma and mental health issues made him so unable to be normal. As a kid Jesse kind of noticed his oddness but also read Laws people pleasing as affection. In reality, I think it’s Jesse that truly loved Law (because only somebody mentally well can truly do that) whereas Law was always obsessed.
Part of the issue is that Law never asks what he really wants to know. He’s always playing a social game and reading the other person and trying to read their minds…yet because of this he always reads Jesse wrong because he CANT understand Jesse. Jesse is very mentally strong unlike Law. Jesse is strong willed, independent, and despite his cold exterior compassionate. Law, on the other hand, is driven but mentally weak from abuse by his parents, very dependent and trained to people please, and appears warm while actually being very brutal and intense on the inside.
Your explanation is very detailed. I've skipped the others and just only focused on the timeline lmao. Anyways, I agree with you at some part. They could have been a good couple if they just communicated with each other. They wanted to protect each other and ended up destroying themselves. Maybe because of their individual trauma that 'til now, they never overcomed. They needed to heal. Perhaps, they are on each others mercy now hahaha.
