I've been told to read this so many times by different people but I'm a little wary, since I don't usually go for gory bls, so is this really worth the read? Or is it just hype?
It's worth the read if you enjoy dark genres, with a lot of gore, suspense, manipulation going on. I can tell you that this manhwa opened my appetite for dark manhwas. However I do agree that Killing Stalking is not for everyone. Even if you are a fan of bl-yaoi, it's just not enough to read it. I checked your reading list and it's kinda far from what you usually read, but try reading the first few 10 chapters then decide for yourself.

I find it worth the read, personally. But in the "all my other serials aren't updating and this one did" sort of way, besides the cute chili's.
For my opinion, it's more fluff than angst. There's the MC's whole "dog pretending to be a wolf" thing, and the Fox blackmailing him with it... But it mellows out over time.
Worse comes to worst, read a few chapters I suppose.

No it's full of the usual toxic tropes. One of those frustrating cases where the comic is self aware but still does it anyway. The ml only likes the mc because he's "pretty", the side characters call him "ma'am", the villains try to sexually assault him, the ml also sexually assaults him (goes back and forth between assault, pressure and holding back), unbalanced power dynamics, no real chemistry (they're more like parent and child because of how Mc was kept stunted from adulthood), etc.

I'll tell you it's worth the read, they're really cute together. The story is sweet and the seme yes, might seem a bit freaky but he is a sweetheart. [Himbo vibes, he's never dated anyone so approaching a relationship isn't his strong suit] it's more silly and sweet. It's a gang tope so violence and toxic traits are present but I genuinely think it's a good read and would recommend it. [Imo the person that explained it and said not to is giving the couple and story less credit then it deserves] For a gangster x civilian manga it's, more lighthearted then others.
I agree he's a himbo and a simp, and the Mc tries to stand up for himself more and more over time. those moments were what kept me reading it until the latest update. But yeah are those worth overlooking the other tropes? It's up to personal preference ig.
