If you're going to gain weight do it in a healthy manner. Don't just eat a bunch of sugar and fast food. Instead drink protein shakes, drink milk often, eat rice often (but please don't over eat it. it can me really bad if you do), eat almond butter a lot or just almonds, have potatoes, eat Salmond, avocados or guacamole, cereals, veggies and fruit...... 1 reply
This is due to another post I read. I wanna make my own post and make it positive. Leave your own recommendations. Try not to include suggestions that involve harm and dismisses gay/queerness.
Here's my non-sexual list: Gay/Queer:
#1 Our Dreams at Dusk :
It's a Japanese manga, it's very much focused on the coming of age of a gay teen. However, it follows the life of other teens and adults coming to terms with their sexuality and gender.
#2 Mom, I'm Gay:
One of my favorites at the times. This follows the life of a older gay man (not a teen). He's going through the process of dealing with his sexuality as a korean along side fellow gay(WLW too) friends.
#3 I Hear the Sunspot:
This one is gay as well, it focuses on disability and coming of age between two characters.
#4 Boys Run the Riot:
The this one is actually more queer coded and about tran/nonbinary and gender expression. HOWEVER, if you like fashion it's a really nice read because it use fashion to boost the main characters confidence in his gender.
#5 Here You Are:
This is a Chinese manhua, this is another coming of age between two male characters. I love this one because it's very wholesome and slow paced.
#6 The Shape of Your Love:
This is another one that takes sexuality into account and once again non sexual.
#7 I Think our Son is Gay:
This one talks about sexuality a lot but it's in a light hearted way and you wont see much romance going on
#8 Boy Meets Marina:
This one focuses on gender expression and trauma, but there's definitely some coming of age into queerness as well.
#9 Blue Flag: A cute one. Basically coming of age again and it centers around a confession to the MC's crush.
#10 Restart After Growing Hungry:
This is one of those manga were the characters are gay and already have a relationship established.
#11? Abnormal Rommate
I put a question mark because it's not done yet. However, the theme is a unrequited love. One of the MC's is gay and lets it be known. The other character isn't, but so far it isn't that cliche i'm only gay for you BS. I'm hoping it wont turn into that. ALSO, be careful because it might become a sexual story later on down the line. (hense the ?)
#12 Fools:
Another kinda nonsexual story. It starts with a boy who struggles with his first breakup and meets someone knew. Eventually the two of them run into each other, but only one remembers. The really showcase the strugges the other MC went through while ending it with his ex.
#13 Seaside stranger:
This one is a hit or miss with some people. However, it does follow one of the main characters who's gay and his dynamic with his family. There's a n aspect with the other main character that I dislike as a queer person, but it's up for you to decide if you like it.
#14 To The Stars and Back: Slice of life webtoon. A slow burn, but the two characters are so wholesome and innocent with their realizations.
