Finally finished it. I loved the story but can see a fatal flaw. Krisha had the power to change the fate and only changed it in the current timeline but Jaan had memory of Krisha appearing in the battlefield when he was young, hence the nickname Red Witch, which means that Krisha in previous timelines chose not to change the fate? Fatal flaw indeed. Willing to change my opinion if someone explains it better.
I think it's because she didn't know that he's planning to become a living corpse, possibly leaving him to deal with the battle alone and not even participating.
That's the only possibility I can think of

I think Mingwa is doing a great job. I know people are unsatisfied with this but Jaekyung isn't a 2 dimensional character but has layers to him, just like Kim Dan. And when you think that the other person would live a much better life without you then, no matter what, you have to let them go, even if begging them to stay would be easier. Jaekyung is suffering and I think most people will understand this better when they reread this once it's over. Because it's ongoing, the change may seem slow/non existent, but I assure you, it's there. This is good writing. I understand that things not going a certain way may disappoint most but the payoff will be satisfying. Migwa has proven themselves to do just that with BJ Alex.
Besides Kim Dan has to grow and heal by himself before they get into a half baked relationship where neither have healed enough to sustain a healthy relationship.
Yes!! I just reread and the pacing is fantastic. Also people were complaining that jk wasn't groveling or hurting enough for what he's done and here you go! We also dont often get the seme running away from the uke especially because they dont want to continue hurting the uke and I think that is so refreshing
The beginning of the first chapter reminded me of Heaven X Candy! Glad it didn't turn out that way
