Nah they just merged. It's like his true self was divided into different personalities. One that kept the image of a serious good natured hyung and the other one that would wake up at night to have sex. After his acceptance and finding out his feelings for Jinsung was mutual it's kinda like he no.longer has any reason to have different personalities to keep up an image or hide a side of himself
