Why do i do this to myself? I know the ending. Ive read this a million times. But I still keep coming bsck. And evety time I still cry. Full on ugly crying in my bed at midnight. I hate how real and raw this story is. I cant stand the sad ending. This is truely a masterpiece of a story and there will never be anything on the same level as this. At least not for me.
I love this chapter! Also madw me think about how theres many reasons why he wouldnt like the money:
1. Hes a child and doesnt get what it is, conpared to the cool playing cards or origami money looks booring
2. His og family is rich so parents cared more about money then him, he mightve noticed in his old house how ppl lay more attention to it then him
3. He was kidnapped foe money
Obviously only the 1st reason really makes since but the other ones are also interesting to note wince our potato does seem pretty aware of his surroundings

Sure hope this is a way to take away the dragons powers, trough the story weve seen how the people born as the dragons are always misrable so of course the best way to end the story (and prevent the current dragons from sying young) wouls be to take away their poswers. Itd also let Zeno finally grow old and die with the others.

So many people are throwing shit at the dad, but i really think he deserves some sympathy. Yes, lraving a newbotn behind in that abusive house wad unforgivable, but after getting abused for months and months he most likely lost any sort of support system he had and did not know what else to do.
Years later he came back, reqlized he fucked up, noticed the situation his child was in and understood that he could give him a better life. From an outsiders POV, our mc and his little bro were definitely not living a good life. Theyre livijg on the bad side of town, in huge debt, surrounded by gangsters and mc is basically prostitution himself. What person would see that as a good enviorment for a young child to grow up in?
We as readers do have an insiders view and can see how things are actually going, and even then we can see how this is not a healthy situation for our mc or the little bro. There was the fire insident bacm when MC was working all the time, and more revently our MC loosing his mind because of anxiety over selling himself (the whole "am i too loose?" thing) Sure MC still does whatever he can for his little brother, but he is not in a good mential place, nor cabaple of fully proviting a good life for his little brother.
Still both MC and the father fucked up with how they did the transision. Shoildve done it in a way where MC was more there for the little brother, and maybe done weekday weekend swaps so little brother had more time to adjust, instead of just dumping the child on the fathe without explaining anything clearly. Take a few weeks to just have meeting with the father, then slowly transision to having the child live with him.
Sure hope it wont end up that the father is an abusive person in the end too, for now he seems to be a caring person who has done a lot of mistakes in his past. Sprry for any spelling mistakes, cant use autocorrect in incognito mode lol
True, from the biological parent perspective trying to get him out of there was the best solution and I don't blame him, hey he even said that he would let the brother raise him if he didn't live in such conditions but I hope he realises that he's comprising the boy's mental health at being separated from what basically was his only parent and that it's hurting him more and obviously as a child he doesn't know he's at a better environment...

Right? If the omega dad was the one that stayed & EH was the one that left, I think that omega dad and EY would have been much worse off. EH is so mentally strong after everything hes been throughout all of his experiences up until now would have broken a normal person Like EY dad. And someone mentally unstable like that struggling to raise a baby EY doesn't seem like a healthy environment. EH raising EY was definitely the better option in the beginning But after so long it's starting to take effect on EH mental health. He needs a break.
This is one of those stories you wish to see a rebirth version of. I want to see a good ending. I want to see the seme getting what he deserves. But this story is so beautiful because there is nothing like that. This is a raw and realistic story without any cheap drama or tricks. As much as I dream about these characters getting their happy ending, i know in reality that wouldnt happen...
