The piss is nothing the part I'm struggling with is the secondhand embarrassment of seeing the boss begging to be pissed in to his employee who doesn't have a piss kink (yet). His whole trauma is from telling someone he liked piss as a teen and getting ostracised so you would think he'd learn and not go exposing his kink to someone he works with that could end his career? I know its bl so none of this matters and I'm gonna keep reading but all their interactions are making me cringe right now.
I know for a second volume you need to insert drama to keep the story going but this really felt like it wasn't even about the main couple? The ring scene at the end just felt like whatever. I would read a spinoff about the new guy because I like him but as a conflict-causing side character it feels like the story was about him and Rou not Rou and Yoshino. Like the focus was too much about him and the main couple feel like an afterthought.
It didn't hit me until the end that there's literally no reason for the beginning plot to be about needing to kill the friend? Like if his reasoning is just that he needed an excuse to be close to mc as a ghost why wouldn't he just say that he has unfinished business he needs help with or something It makes 0 sense now that we have the full context. I wish they had leaned into that dynamic more because it seemed like it had good potential for some interesting moral dilemmas and drama. The route this story actually took felt more cliche and its literally just oh the power of love cured my coma!
He was intentionally being mean in making Souma choose between Haruna and him (because of their weird group dynamic of loves-me, loves-me-not). Saying it as *killing* Haruna I think was a bit more gruesome than it could've been (I think the author planned on making Ren into more of an asshole than he ended up being), but it was ultimately about testing Souma and his (supposed) affection for Haruna so that Enamoto came out as the bad, selfish guy after his allotted time haunting Souma (i.e his death).
??? He is literally in middle school, that's why he's looking for a high school to attend? What are you talking about? Japanese middle schools go until 9th grade so yes he is probably 16 but he's definitely a middle schooler.
might be another mistranslation, because he already passed the exam and accepted into the highschool and even the teacher asked him if he is really a highschooler with his attitude when he jumped him and then around this time is where the flashback about them doing it, so by the time they do it its when he was a first year, but they did go on a date when he was a middle schooler still
I mean yeah he was accepted/the results of the exams r out in January and it mentioned that their relationship only lasted a little more than a month soo schools r still on going cause usually the end of classes there in Japan is in the last weeks or March or like April(?) Sooo yeah i guess they broke up already in that time and still a middle schooler about to graduate when they already banging
I dunno, the longer this drags out the more I feel like I have no interest in them getting together. Like obv this is fiction but if someone said they weren't interested in you that way then you kept pushing it for this long and bringing it up..... that's fucking annoying. Like Hirano cares for him! But so far it doesn't feel romantic to me and that's fine? Like at this point if/when they start dating it just feels like he's been worn down into accepting it, idk.
Agree. I feel almost no affection from Hirano and it tires me. Totally can see that he develops some feelings but it's too slow. I mean, sure if some stone shows this much love and care to me, I'd come to love it in the end too. Does it make them sincere..?
Miyano's consideration phase was much better and organic then this ngl.
I always get worried when stories I love get a second volume because they always end up being the same miscommunication or jealousy plots to create tension but I love that these two actually communicate with each other and have such a healthy relationship. Just seeing them grow closer and learn about each other without unnecessary drama. Feels very real!
I thought the art was kinda cute and I love bdsm stories so I clicked but this is so ? why does a high schooler live in a bdsm bar...if he's not into s&m why did he have a rope in his bag at school...why do they keep using top and bottom to mean the same as dom and sub...why are they just fucking suddenly in the middle of this bar when the door's unlocked maybe they answered these questions but I couldn't get past chapter 3 the cringe was way too much. Think maybe the editor should have asked for a few more drafts before publishing this one lol

I thought the band members looked familiar and I'm pretty sure they are the mcs and friends from the authors other story (with the pink hair mc). If you look at the friend group there its younger versions of the band.
Pompadour is missing but yesssssss
WAIT FR? does anyone know the title
Just look in the other works for the cover with the guy who has dark pink hair. It’s at the end. I’m reading another one by the same author and I’m trying to figure out what’s going on, haven’t decided if it’s connected yet.
Omgggg thank you for pointing that out, when i first read it too i feel like I've seen then before, so it's the pink hair dude. I didn't recognize him at first cause his hairstyle's different, now i see it. Thankssssヾ(☆▽☆)
