This is only true if the one paying the wifi is tech-savvy enough to actually bother on viewing it. Plus, they can only see the domain, not what you've read. Just use VPN. You'll be fine.

I'm so glad I'm the adult paying the bill now, lol. It was so stressful when I was a teen reading manga online. And at that time I didn't have a smartphone and mobile data obviously wasn't a thing on a dumbphone, so there was no.other way to access it...
