What do you dislike about this? I do quite like this story but I'm curious since nothing jumps out to me as bad

The story ain't that bad tho

i can understand this being something you read simply for entertainment, but i just heavily dislike this story as is

sorry for writing out such a blunt comment, but i was just mad that this had a 9.6 (╬￣皿￣)凸
its not like its the worst of the worst,
it just does not deserve a 9.6

either way as for what i dislike about the story

in summary: loopholes, no character development and no depth/meaningful interactions

mc is just a mary sue who's gonna get everything he wants with his overpowered acting cheat and won't have any setbacks throughout the story
(+acting is portrayed so simply i find it infuriating, but i think this is my biased opinion)

mc also acts like a fucking jerk
im sorry i hate his guts and everything about him tbh

he also [acts] indifferent and nonchalant in front of the professional actors/directors as someone who is [BAD at acting without his cheat]
as professionals shouldn't they at least notice something ??

to the other characters
none of them actually get developed
all of them feel so unidimensional and always have the same reactions to mc's 'prowess'

the very misunderstanding itself is stupid
they can solve it by simply conducting an investigation on him and asking his friends and all that

of course you can still enjoy it

but honestly on long-term i believe that even if you like the story you will get bored of the repetitiveness... thank you for reading !! （￣へ￣）

You definitely have a point though! I do read this as my op mc guilty pleasure story . It isn't the best story objectively but it's enjoyable in a sense if you aren't reading with a critical lense.

true I've been wondering why this have a high rating, I've only read up until the very first chapter back then but it didn't impressed me, I'm also a sucker for good art style so this isn't it

I remember reading it's novel and to be honest it's okay. It's been years so I'm not so sure about the specifics but there are removed scenes and as what stated some of the scenes got jumbled but that doesn't make it plot hole less, just make the acting kinda bland. And as far as I remember it's actually comedy so it's not that serious unlike any other acting manhwa or novels. I used to audioread this novel when I'm doing chores and I just chuckle out of no where because it's ridiculous like that hahahaha so yeah

I was ready to argue but then I realise that all the points were valid. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I get what you mean but the only thing I dont get is why you hate him hes bever been a jerk not a single time thwt misunderstand him as arrogant due ti him hiding his emotions so he doesnt get found out cause in truth he is nervous as hell and they cant notice something cause his acting is literally embodiment of the person using a cheat system how could they notice that he just started acting when he's never actually did it before the system now that hr has it even if he just acted normally it wouldn't be bad since he has the experiences of embodying so many its apart of him now but had it been before the system he wouldn't even be their so they wouldn't notice

I tried to understand too but after seeing how she transferred her curse to sera it js made me realize what if shes actually born evil her character is truly unlikable icl and theres rlly nothing to like imo, i mean she literally stole seras personality. She’s mentally unstable and overall pretty selfish i mean sera absolutely did nothing yet shes a subject to her evil deeds

born evil is very... extreme
how do you define someone who is inherently evil and how does that work
i think i can sort of respond to the question i had now
this is probably some sort of deficit in certain brain regions paired with an environment that couldn't raise her in a way to help her with those problems
again, i think being born evil is an overstatement
i believe that you might be born lacking certain things but the environment has such a big effect on you that they could end up being displayed in a different manner

I hate the plot of “born evil” in a non fantasy setting like whaaaa? It just sounds a bit lazy imo. Since it’s so unrealistic ( I mean of course it doesn’t have to be realistic but when it comes to things like this? I dislike it ) I feel it would make more sense if she was a different species, but she’s human. So it’s just impossible to imagine her being born evil.

I stand by what i said cuz at the end of the day shes labeled as the villainess and got that role perfectly played out for being evil because icl its not worth understanding especially when theres rlly no in depth background story abt why she became that way so sorry if i offended yall with my harsh words （￣へ￣）

Well maybe u could say that her life was perfect before and then she suddenly came with a curse, but imo i literally wont use that as a way to harm someone for my own benefit. U could also blame that shaman for influencing her to think that way, but cmon going as far as to stab smb? I think not so thats why i stated theres nothing to like abt her character

Oh it’s not what you think, I just feel if her character was a bit more complex it would’ve enhance the story. I don’t condone adults harming others just because they were hurt and I would’ve been just as annoyed if they justified it ( unless they were possessed or mind control. Then I wouldn’t blame them at all. Of course it wouldn’t make sense for the people they harmed to be okay being with them, if you get what I’m referencing. )

I really feel like it was a missed opportunity of the whole perfect life until something they can’t control happens. That deeply affects their life.

It’s hard to explain but I just expected a bit more? I’m not one to complain much though. I’m just noticing how often this happens where the og female lead almost always ends up being a white lotus, so maybe I’m projecting a bit too much on this.

Oh hell yeah, shes not like the other villains who actually had lore and had history on how they came to be evil, for her character it js seemed like she was made just to be bad and to make the fl look like all her suffering came from the villain and ofc the villain will take all the flame and blame. Which lead to my harsh opinion about her, to me it just seemd like such a shallow way to portray her character and from her personality and those random scenes of jumpscares (which i love ong) it js seemd like wasted potential.

In my theory she originally just some pamper kid who need to get slap. I take it that her aggressive behavior probably came from her relation with palseon(the shaman). You know like some kind of evil spirit stuck inside her and control her unconsciously.

If fate didn't make them meet, I believe she might just ended up as second tier bully at the school. Or MAYBE ended up getting fixed and become bestie with Sera. And through it all her persona would be just sum light obsession or something
