Y'all mad your nugu ass ships don't have fan with this much dedication, and instead of creating contents of it, y'all complain about the lack of it on other ship's work, and in an illegal website too. What a fucking hypocritical. how about stop complaining and pick up a pen? It'd surely do more than talk shit about other ship. People would think this fictional ship killed your grandma for you to talk like this about someone's doujinshi. No actually, people would think that you're someone who can actually contribute something for you to be talking shit about someone else's work. Shouldn't you be concerned about real pedophiles fucking and eating children instead of two fictional characters who don't even have any real feeling fucking? Go after real pedophiles instead, because you people seems to only have the guts to attack people online
Nah fr, some folks here are so prissy because of a FICTIONAL ship. I mean, some of the djs are aged up gofushi.. and they then make the excuse that its still weird because gojo "raised" him. (He didn't. He dropped by frequently & stopped the zenin clan from taking fushiguro, but he didn't "raise" tsumiki & fushiguro)
They try and pull out every excuse from their assholes. The age gap, knowing fushiguro since he was a kid, the fact majority of gofushi djs unspecify the ages, etc. But then when it comes to their comics that have these type of tropes, they turn blind to it. Like wtf
Ykw? Hell yeah. I wanna be those guys surrounding Lizel so bad. Imagine getting a head Pat from him, imagine getting to sleep on HIS LAPS, IMAGINE GETTING TO TOUCH HIS CHEEKS, HIS HAIR, HIS BODY AHHHHHHHH
You people need to stop yapping about whether this is a bl or not I promise, it's not like a female character is going to suddenly appear and steal Lizel's heart when his eyes literally YEARNS for the King and Gil/Jil like that.
Just enjoy the bromance moment and make fanfiction gang ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
Never cried so hard and go through so many emotions when and after reading/finishing the novel. I need them to have filthy sex everyday and Xie Lian's hole to get filled up by Hua Cheng every morning, the extras aren't enough. Fuck censorship, I hate China's censorship, why are they acting like men kissing men will result in their grandma dying, weakass fragile masculinity.
Before anyone come at me saying some shit about purity and pure HuaLian pls sym. Even the censorship couldn't hide their freak asses, In the extras they literally have status fucking each other. And MDZS and SVSSS are written before the censorship law tighten btw so imagine if the censorship didn't exist for TGCF. MXTX would've create unimaginable smut compared to any fanfics.
mxtx has stated that hua cheng has the best "technique" and biggest "you know what" from all their novels. (mdzs, tgcf, svsss) so you know what we were robbed off. actually china's censorship increased after the 227 incident resulting in ban of ao3 and increased censorship in webnovels. the danmei authors were getting literal house arrests and legal actions ('the next time you think the govt won't do that, oh yes they will' moment) that's why danmei's after 2020-2021 are pretty tame compared to older ones. now the things have started becoming better and spicing up, but it still affects authors alot.

Straight up slop. The beginning chapters were good but that's it. Every single problem in this story could have been resolved if the main character just died. That's how insufferable she is. I came into this expecting a smart, cunning villainess act from her. Instead, what do I get? A spoiled brat who lashes out at everyone around her and then plays the victim when the consequences of her own actions come knocking.
At this point, I'm actively rooting for her to die alone. There is genuinely nothing likable about her except her beauty and honestly, I prefer her mother's. In fact, I would have loved a story centered on her mother instead. Yes, the mother has done unquestionably terrible things, but at least she's intelligent enough to make me like her. Meanwhile the mc does nothing but create her own problems and then scream at the male lead for not "protecting" her from them. She wants to kill her own sister for "stealing" the male lead, as if that's the real issue here. Babe, there are bigger fish to fry. Your entire life is on fire and you're worried about a man not defending you? And then wanting to kill your half-sister?
if the main character were ugly, nobody would take her side. Not a single person. Her entire character is her face. Strip that away and all you're left with is a petty, reactive, self-destructive girl who treats everyone around her like garbage and then wonders why nobody wants to save her.
Yet somehow, Ayla gets painted as the villain. Ayla, who is the main reason the MC is suffering in the first place—except no, wait, that's not even true. The MC is suffering because she keeps making terrible decisions, acting spoiled, and lashing out at everyone within a ten-mile radius. If I were Ayla, I wouldn't feel a thing about her death. I'd probably wish for it even harder. Why is the MC trying to kill her over a man? A man. That's the depth we're working with.
Sure, Ayla is two-faced. Sure, she's manipulative. But at least she's likable.
And let's talk about the artist, because the misogyny here is not subtle. You can see it in the way she keeps choosing these novels to adapt. Her previous work had a blond MC and a "not-so-pretty" sister who existed solely to be the scapegoat everyone hated. Same pattern yet different story. And the way both Jeannette and Ayla are drawn with less detail and less appeal, as if the artist is terrified they might accidentally outshine the blond MC. God fucking forbid another woman be beautiful or compelling. God FUCKING forbid the reader sympathize with anyone but the 'beautiful' heroine.
It's exhausting because it's fucking predictable. And it's a waste of what could have been a genuinely interesting villainess story.
Have you never seen how a traumatized person acts? How ptsd works? Or even what being abandoned feels like. Even if she was ugly asf I would still take thalia's side. Because she is real, not unrealistic.
Had she been a reincarnator or transmigrator, my take would've been different. But not from childhood to adult hood she was brought up in a male dominated society where her half brother would assult her ever time she came in his sight, she was neglected by her mother, her maids, everyone around her. Not even a single person she could rely on. Not a single good memory to hold on to. And yall want her yo act like a badass villainess?
I never said trauma doesn't affect people. I never said PTSD isn't real. I never said abandonment doesn't leave scars. You're arguing against points I never made. Of course she's traumatized. Of course she's acting like a traumatized person. That's not the issue. The issue is that trauma is not an excuse.
You're saying she's "real" and "realistic" and that's why you take her side. Okay. But real people who are traumatized still get held accountable for their actions. Real people who have PTSD still don't get to try to kill their half-sister over a man and then hide behind their pain when someone calls them out. Real people who were abandoned still have to face the consequences of the way they treat others, no matter how much they've suffered. That's how reality works. Your trauma doesn't stop being valid just because someone holds you accountable, and being held accountable doesn't mean your trauma is being dismissed. Both things can exist at once.
Yes, her pain and trauma is real. But so is the harm she causes to other people. And you can't just wave that away because she suffered first.
You're also putting words in my mouth. I never asked her to be a "badass villainess." I said I came in expecting a smart, cunning villainess, and instead I got someone who acts spoiled and lashes out at everyone. There's a massive difference between "I wanted her to be a cold, calculating villain" and "I wanted her to not try to murder her sister over a man while screaming at everyone who tries to help her." Nobody is asking her to be a badass villainess. What I'm asking is for her to not want to murder her sister over a man. What I'm asking is for her to take even a shred of accountability for the ways she contributes to her own suffering. What I'm asking is for her to treat at least one person with basic human decency instead of screaming at everyone who tries to help her.
But fine. Let's say she's just a realistic portrayal of a traumatized person. Even then, realism doesn't make a character likable. You're using "she's realistic" as if that automatically means I should sympathize with her, but that's not how storytelling works. I can understand why someone is the way they are and still not want to be around them. I can acknowledge someone's pain and still not excuse the way they treat others. I can recognize trauma and still hold someone accountable for their choices.
At the end of the day, her trauma does not give her the right to want to kill another person. No amount of suffering changes that. No amount of neglect makes that okay. No amount of PTSD justifies attempted murder. You can be the most traumatized person on the planet and you still don't get to decide someone else's life is yours to take because you're jealous over a man.
You can love her. You can relate to her. You can see yourself in her. That's fine. But don't act like everyone who dislikes her just doesn't understand trauma. Some of us understand it perfectly well. We just also understand that trauma is not a get-out-of-jail-free card, and being a victim does not mean you get to victimize others.
God's.. if you don't like her okay whatever but seriously what is your issue
It's understandable to why she is the way she is and what's that you might ask well like a child, a child who was never taught not to have tantrums or get jealous or angry or all the emotions she has the way she is how she learned "worked" even if it's ass.
but how is she ment to know better when no one was there to help her you can hate her for it but you also know why she's like that
The issue is the fact you want her dead just cause of that which at that point stop reading if your tweaking about it..
You over her glazing her sister who has shown more then once she could give less of a damn about her multiple times and is very much aware the ML is the only support she feels she has and took that from her and continues to Ayla is the type of girl I would never want to be around just fake a fuck at least MC is real about her hate and it a easy okay one and done out of life sorta thing
I'm sure you've came a cross a fake person before in life it's not fun unless you haven't for reasons >->
Also from your first long as heck comment I have a feeling your the type of person who doesn't like blond and blue eye characters... Or even people... From that misogyny accusation..
Even tho I don't like Ayla she's still pretty they both are the fact that your accusing the author because of your personal issues is gross
You bring up beauty so much that I have a feeling your the type to base people off there looks which is pretty telling which also means
Your one of those types yikes
Imm out have a good day and keep ragging I guess :P
The fact that you're asking "what is your issue" when I've already laid out my issues multiple times tells me you either didn't actually read what I wrote or you're being deliberately obtuse. Given how confidently you misrepresented everything I said, I'm leaning toward the latter.
Apparently reading comprehension isn't your strong suit.
I never said I wanted her dead. I said I'm rooting for her to die alone. There's a difference. That's just me saying I've given up on her as a character and I'm no longer invested in her getting a happy ending. You can think that's harsh and unfair but don't twist my words into something they're not. It's not a good look, and frankly, you're not good enough at it to pull it off.
You're also doing that thing where you assume anyone who criticizes the FL must be glazing Ayla. I'm not. I already said Ayla is two-faced and manipulative. I never said she was a good person. I said she was more likable. Those are two different things. Being more likable than the FL is not a high bar when the FL wants to kill someone over a man. That's just stating the obvious. I'd explain it further, but I don't want to overwhelm you.
And then you go off on this weird thing about me not liking blond and blue-eyed characters and basing people off their looks. First of all, that's a reach. Second of all, I brought up beauty because the story itself makes her beauty central to her character. That's just pointing out that the narrative and the fandom judge people by their looks. There's a difference.
Third of all, accusing me of being "one of those types" because I criticized an artist's patterns is not the flex you think it is cuz why are you headcanon things about me? Damn... just say you're out of words.
You don't have to like my opinion. You don't have to agree with it. But don't act like I haven't explained myself.
And don't come at me with "just stop reading" as if that's some kind of argument. I did stop reading. That's why I'm here talking about it instead of still consuming it.
Have a good day. I mean that genuinely. But maybe actually read what I'm saying before you respond next time. It'll save us both the trouble :P
and god fucking forbid a woman isn’t the perfect victim, appearantly. i feel like all the criticism thalia gets all circles back to the idea that she needs to quit acting like the traumatized character she is for the convenience of others, meanwhile no one has her best interest in mind.
“a starving person does not choose their meal”, it’s easy to judge a struggling person based on their actions because we’ll never have to experience the extremes they go through. i think media consumers especially struggle with that concept today more than ever, where punishment is being pushed over growth and understanding.
Did the main character even act like a victim at all? She didn't put Ayla's interests first when she was actively trying to kill her and traumatizing her. Did she consider anything about Ayla at all during that? She screams at the ML for not "protecting" her from problems she created herself. She blames everyone else for her misery while never once looking in the mirror. She wants to kill Ayla for "stealing" a man as if Ayla owes her anything. At no point does she stop and think "maybe I'm the common denominator here." At no point does she consider anyone else's perspective. At no point does she extend to others the same grace she expects for herself.
She might be a victim, but she is also an abuser who traumatized someone else.
Why should anyone be forced to pity a person like that? Everything she does eventually comes back to bite her ass, and yet she keeps blaming everyone but herself instead of taking responsibility for her own actions. The MC is so consumed by her own suffering that she can't even see that she's inflicting suffering on someone else. She's so focused on her own pain that she doesn't notice she's becoming the source of someone else's¯(º_o)/¯
i think traumatizing is a stretch tbh. remember, it was thalia who was met with excessive violence and beatings first just for existing around ayla in the first place. ayla may not lash out at thalia, but that’s because she doesn’t need to. ayla has gareth who gets angry on her behalf and meets thalia’s toxicity tenfold, so ayla gets be calm and detached from the situation and act soooo confused as to why thalia hates their guts while she does nothing to stop the brute force her brother meets her with. it’s a clear message being sent to thalia ‘don’t stand out of line or this is your punishment’, and the kicker? thalia recieves that punishment for merely breathing a little too loud in their vicinity; and with no one looking out for her, thalia has to be the one to speak up and fight against that. thalia was only pushed to the point of wanting to murder ayla once after varkas carried her, it’s not like she was repeatedly making attempts at her life. the most thalia had done to her up till that point was toss wine at her and rage bait her into reacting, and she does that to both siblings.
again i want to make the comparison of the starved person. thalia has not done what you’ve asked, but neither has ayla. not once has ayla genuinely cared or worried for her sister, the only time she stepped in to the excessive beating she recieves is when it stops benefiting her. ayla, who by comparison has a full stomach, is constantly sympathized with in the fandom for having a full stomach, meanwhile fed up at thalia for letting it be known that she’s actively starving. ayla gets shielded repeatedly from extending out any effort into helping thalia, but that expectation later gets placed on thalia instead to be understanding of ayla, who’s never done the same to thalia to begin with and hasn’t experienced extreme circumstances.
ayla being hated more than gareth wasn’t just because of a man, that specific man was just the breaking point that made thalia want to risk it all. it’s an interesting contrast i noticed, ayla who is loved and cherished by everyone falls for the one man who doesn’t swoon for her, meanwhile thalia falls for the one man who showed her an ounce of warmth before she entered survival mode.
in any case, it’s easier to sympathize with ayla because we don’t see her at her absolute worst like thalia is. which brings me back to my previous line; a starving person does not choose their meal.
Uuuuuhhh okay I'm gonna just assume your like in highschool or something and just online to much sorry kid enjoy your other story's I guess??
