the characters are sadly realistic in a certain way; like the part where people lash out at you; basically for nothing, mistaking your actions for liking that person; nate as being an actual decent human being.
It sad that people see that your good actions as a flirt or trying to get something out of you just because you acted nice. Like why can’t people be nice to people without a reason.
The way that the ML acted to is justified since being himself(aka being nice) led him to being punch or an awkward situation then for you to get out of it; is to be the opposite.
Read the ending and it’s really cute. But history repeats itself weirdly enough
anyways sorry for the rent but literally i can relate to this story unweariedly.
