It's more of an example of how his BPD is being manifested, ie having such an intense relationship, and being content with just being validated, in his eyes by Sangwoo. Sangwoo is emotionally dependent on Bum at this stage, it's codependency, and both sides are approaching their relationship in a rather unhealthy way, but at the end of the day, they feel they need each other. I find it a bit hard how people in the comments can have such a polarized view of the characters, Killing Stalking is just an example of two mentally unwell men, their back stories and how this manifests into their codependent and criminal behaviour as adults. Both men are criminals, both men have killed. Infantalising Yoon Bum is very very odd, but seems to be a popular theme in the comments. Oh well.

You are disgusted by both main characters of the series to the point that you have to come shit all over them in the comments, but you still like the series? Your logic perplexes me because it doesn't seem to exist. I read the topics because I actually enjoy the series and used to like the community before assholes like this came into every comment section just to constantly shit on something they supposedly like over and over and over again.

I think it actually makes perfect sense, if you think about it. You can dislike characters and still like the story. I think the OP means that they dislike him as a person, probably because of his morals and obsessive tendencies. Some people are just downright turned off by obsessive behavior, it is creepy. I personally have a tolerance for it. I've read plenty of manga where i disliked the mc, but still thought they were interesting and wanted to see more. 'Love is an illusion' for example, Hyesung is downright hateful, but he's still interesting to watch, i don't like wish he wasn't in the manga or anything. At the end of the day posting negative thoughts is still posting your thoughts, though i DO think the OP went WAY to far in their comment and it makes it look like they're trolling.

It is still ridiculous to call it "disturbing" when it's clearly not meant to be.

I can agree with you saying that calling the ACTIONS of hugging and blushing disturbing not making sense, but that really feels like a strawman tbh. They clearly meant that they find the context disturbing. Like, if i kiss you that isn't disturbing, but if you don't know me and you wake up in your room to me kissing you at night, it's disturbing. Do i think the context was disturbing? No. I think they're a cute couple and that Bum blushing makes sense now that Sangwoo has fallen in love and Bum can see that, but maybe the OP doesn't think that Sangwoo even HAS fallen in love and that Bum is just looking into it because he's obsessive. There is a lot more evidence pointing towards that Sangwoo views Bum as his "wife" now, so i wont agree with that line of thought, but if they want to think otherwise then whatever.

Yeah, i can't argue since i see the same thing and agree. I've seen some people who like to imagine that Sangwoo is doing it on purpose and that Bum is licking it all up because of his BPD, but there is a LOT of buildup showing Sangwoo go from playing with Bum to literally crying and losing his shit when he thinks Bum is dying. You dislike the main character of the series so much it makes you sick enough to comment about, but you like the series? Seems like you're either a sadist, or very confused about what the definition of liking a thing is.

Do you really think so though? I mean, think about it, i'm sure you've been in the same situation whether it was manga or any other type of media. One manga i can think of is 'Complex" by Manda Ringo, i HATE Tatsuya, but i still wanted them to get together for Junichi's sake. I even liked Tatsuya to a degree, but his actions make me want to do unspeakable things. I feel like what you said isn't really accurate, you can HATE a character and still love whatever content you're partaking in. I highly recommend 'Complex' btw, it's a masterpiece.

Well, yeah, but that's a series with multiple heavily featured characters, some you do like, one you don't, this is a series with basically two people featured for like 95% of it, but somehow they like the series while utterly detesting the people the vast majority of it focuses on. I wanted to SLAP him when he took the guitar. He had to know Skyler would get that all wrong. What he should have done was immediately call Skyler and say, "Hey, your mom was gonna throw out your guitar. I have it so it wouldn't get trashed. Get it when you want to from my mom."

Skyler knew his mom was using Yeonduk. He was smart enough to manipulate situations. So, I refuse to accept he didn't notice Yeonduk was a pawn between adults using him for their own rewards. And since he said he never considered Yeonduk his friend, then he should have made that clear up front: "Dude, I don't like you spying on me for my mom. I don't consider you a friend. Stay the hella way from me." Instead, he used him, when it's so clear that Yeonduk was this naive, controlled, desperate for friendship little guy. Even if Skyler hated being monitored by mom, bullying is not justified. He bullied Yeonduk.

Over controlling mother. Go back and reread what YOU yourSELF just admitted and maybe you'll get a CLUE as to why everyone hates abusive, victim blamer asshole Skyler. Yeonduk has NO control over the situation. So if you had actually read the story you would not only have known that Skyler NEVER considered Yeonduk a friend (so how COULD he feel betrayed?) but that Yeonduk 'ratted' on his friend (yes, he was the ONLY one who thought they were friends) under DURESS. But I guess blaming the victim takes precedence as it always does.

The only one who can actually stop all this is Yeonduk himself. It's not Skyler's fault he's a weakass bitch. Instead of telling his mother and Skyler's mother that he doesn't want to do what he does, he acts like he's the only suffering victim. He doesn't even talk bad about Skyler's mother even though he knows himself the most that she's a bitch. From the way of story telling I can only assume that Yeonduk himself doesn't even know nor care what he's doing is wrong and makes himself the only victim. And Skyler's an asshole, but I understand how exactly he sees Yeonduk as. As a sleazy rat that gets money from his mom for following him in every step, it maybe isn't like this, but he sees him this way and acts the way he acts. If I was in his shoes I would hate Yeonduk and wouldn't about his wellbeing. Well, rant is over. This is how I see the sitiation. That's all.

When you get put in a situation, with pressure from two adults, one your mom, from the age of 5 or so, it's an ingrained thing. Plus he was under the delusion they were friends, which emotionally chained him (along with his "first love" thing). He never lied. Skyler did. He didn't manipulate. Skyler and the adults did. So, yes, Yeonduk is the one who has to start taking control and refusing to bow to the obligations that ought never have been his. He thought he was being a friend, but he was being a pawn. Now, he has a chance to grow OUT of that role they put him in without him being even aware to its extent.

Skyler is an asshole. His mom is an asshole. Yeonduk has been unfairly treated and his mother is clueless. But Yeonduk is very much a victim, and it takes time to realize you can stop being one and do something....at last.
