Su-ah is pretty unhinged. He started sympathetic, maybe even wronged in some respects, but the way he’s taken advantage of Juhyeok has only proved why Su-ah was someone to be weary of in the first place. At least Juhyeok was always direct in his intentions, Su-ah now seems insidious.
The pacing and characterization is still very engaging, but how are they gonna get us to root for a romance so toxic?
I’m sick of seeing you guys mischaracterize our woodcutter. He is not a pushover. A pushover has strong opinions, but folds immediately when faced with the hint of conflict. They would bad mouth you, but never to your face.
Our woodcutter has shown to be willing to scrap over his mother’s ring and his bride’s honor/safety, but his naivety causes him to continually give everyone the benefit of the doubt beyond reason. On top of that, he is very dumb.
His built, kindness, and lack of cognitive thinking would make him the ultimate himbo. The loyalty he has to his hot (male) wife, who is lying about her identity, turns his story into a tragedy. The archetypal Tragic Himbo.
TL;DR
Being naive and dumb doesn’t automatically make you a pushover. The woodcutter is just soft on his wife because he doesn’t consider a lot of these things deal breakers (for some reason).
yes, hes not a pushover hes a himbo. love ur analysis. Also, the reasons why he looks past the deal breaker because he's desperate for a family since he doesn't have anybody. Not even distant relatives to attend his wedding. This is prertty much his only chance to create a home for himself.

I think it’s interesting how Juhyeok was able to be more relaxed around Su-ah in ch.10 when there was no threat of arousal during the interaction. It’s not that he’s opposed to the Alpha’s affection, but even Su-ah admits he busts a nut just by locking eyes with Juhyeok. Would you want to be stuck alone in a room with him? They almost immediately slipped back into childhood friend mode which was honestly charming. Juhyeok seems like a goofball when he lets his guard down. I think he just doesn’t want to be a y/n damsel in distress waiting for Alpha CEO to rescue him.
This is one of the best takes and observation I've read from the readers/commenters. That's actually it. And I think the author wants to show that to us to make us see how twisted everything has become simply because they got their second genders the other way around. I bet 100% there wouldn't be any problems if they were alpha and omega in reverse because they seem to genuinely like each other ever since they were kids. Suah is just overly obsessed tho, hence the title.
I think it’s kinda messed up that the Omega was just expected to stay secluded in the school storage shed just because he had the more severe symptoms. The Alpha went back home, to class, got them clothes, etc. meanwhile his mate was cooped up in an uninsulated area cluttered with equipment for an unspecified amount of time.
They don't know what was happening to his body, his symptoms were severe, they don't know when these sudden libido will surge or when he'll start to secrete the pheromones which will attract the others sexually, leading to more chaos and troubles. So it's better to stay cooped up in your own comfort rather than be uncomfortable around others and live in fear during that week.
Those boys are budding teenagers who are just learning what is what about abo without any guidance, no matter how mature they behave, at the end of the day, they're still teenagers who don't know anything, so I think you can complain about the situation that much or really find any fault.

MY POINT EXACTLY!!! I made a long-ass comment about my thoughts that parallel this. They are supposed to be making mistakes (like just defaulting to using the shed) because they're scared teenagers who probably feel like they're becoming non-human. Who would they even talk to about this without sounding crazy? Or if people DID believe them, like @Staph said, they could be pulled away by the government to be experimented on.
If I were in their shoes at that age I'd be hiding in a shed too!
The story is straight forward and plows through several of these miscommunication tropes, but the characters still get to react genuinely to the situations they’re in and we get good fanservice.
I feel like the reason why people don’t like the main lead is because he’s portrayed as this soft-boy, but quickly becomes sexually assertive around the mc and that’s coming off as a little disingenuous. I’m more lenient on it however because the Omegaverse has always had a personal image versus instincts dub-con thing. Perhaps the author could’ve balanced the soft-boy tropes better with the α/β/Ω sex tropes, but I’m still enjoying the story so far. (Release of ch.6)
MY EXACT THOUGHTS!! I think ppl forget that with A/B/O dynamics there will always be an element of them fighting against nature vs nurture as well as instincts. Even though, I’m not going to completely say that Su-ah didn’t do anything wrong (bc he was led by Juhyeok’s heat to go overboard and SA’ed him), but I absolutely love how the author actually addresses it as exactly that and the fact that he apologized for it. I also will give him grace because it’s hard to control yourself with someone’s compatible pheromones influencing you and I do think that he was led WAYYY too much by his instincts in that moment. I just feel there’s a lot more potential for growth in his character development and a genuine, trusting, consensual bond between them to grow. This is only the beginning of what I feel like will be a great tale of opposites attract and (hopefully) boundaries as well!!
I know the story is going for emotional realism, but can we get some traction on the reconciliation already? Like I know Kwon Ido should feel bad for his actions, but at this point it feels like a formality. The main character doesn’t even hate him, just finds him pitiable. The story has been winding down for a while anyway. Do they just have a chapter quota or something?

I love how everyone is appreciative and accepting of Little A’s authority, but see him as an undeniable freak. Like they are forced to deal with their new found animal-hybrid nature, but he’s just into that shit and is too eager to go long with whatever.
I love the Judo Club’s energy. They’re probably use to Su-ah being there all the time, plus Juhyeok smelling like him. Calling him a homme fatale (male ver of femme fatale) is hilarious. Don’t know why the Judo Chairman hates Juhyeok when he’s the reason they have access to TJ Ent, but whatever.
I wonder what Juhyeok’s pheromones are like to get every alpha in a 20 ft radius quakin’. The willingness of everyone to follow him out to Japan is crazy.
