With all due respect, but why the plot is not plotting? I'm starting to get bored
that's how stories work lol. Do you know what a story structure is?
There must be a rising action and exposition before the climax can begin and even that is before the falling action and conclusion.
We are still in the rising action part of the story. The climax is nowhere close. She has to gain allies and pull together enough strength to actually defeat him. If she did so now, she would lose once again.
I get what you mean. But in my case, what’s boring me is how the romance between the FL and the ML is dampening my enthusiasm for reading. I’m reading this because I heard the FL holds a deep grudge against her ex (she’s been betrayed and killed by him more than once).
At the beginning of the chapter, I was really caught up in the excitement because she was enthusiastically plotting her revenge, and I was eager to see how she’d carry it out. But when the ML showed up, the romance started, and several new characters appeared, I felt like the sense of hatred I’d shared with the FL at the first chapter just faded away and felt flat.
I’m not blaming any of the characters here. I’m just sharing my opinion about the development of certain characters, which I feel isn’t necessary to focus on right now, since I’d prefer the FL to stay focused on her revenge.
This is definitely going to have a happy ending, right? There won’t be a scene where Tyre sacrifices herself for some reason, even though her dad has only just realized who Tyre is, and then followed by Tyre’s final line: “Don’t be sad, Dad… We’ll meet again someday...” Because, after all, in this timeline, Tyre shouldn’t have been born yet. There won’t be anything like that, right? RIGHT??
