first season was great, but it’s all downhill after that. tried to stick with it but at this point I don’t see anything good left. they just shouldn’t be in a relationship at this point. both of them are not ready to handle their own issues let alone each others. no disrespect to the author, given s1 they are clearly capable of good writing, but at this point it just feels like they are adding problems on problems without any sort of resolution or advancement of the plot.

100% agree. Idk mby there will be some kind of plot twist but I don't see it in the near future. The story went downhill and I personaly don't find it interesting because the last fwe chapters are just the same and are repeating its just sex and confusion adn idk what to think about it ┗( T﹏T )┛

my opinion is that, this just lacks good delivery the way how the story is going now is what i mean. i think it still has that little potential i saw even before s2

The first season was good but it did feel like the author was desperately trying to one up herself on how she's going to torture Woowon next. It started going downhill when Seo-an forced himself on him then kept declining when Woowon got into his third car accident. Just when I thought she ran out of ideas (I mean really? 3 car accidents?), she comes up with this crap. Felt like I was reading whump fanfiction by a 12 year old not a well thought out psychological.

the story seems to be revolving around families for pretty much all the characters so maybe the author is trying to keep on that idea with this girl. it might connect more later, probably with ho and his worries, but ya it seems a bit random right now.

ok so what I've gathered is that she's mostly projecting her feelings of alienation onto mr kwon. she seems to have issues with how different she and her family are, and because of that she's envious and resentful towards others (her friends) who have better lives with their families. that's why she came back to her town to stop having those thoughts.

when she saw mr. kwon kissing ho, she probably thought that he would feel alienated since the townfolk that he's been with his entire life are probably more traditional. I also think that with ho having a child, she took it more harshly since, in her mind, they would be considered "different" as a family just like her own. it doesn't seem like she resents ho or dislikes him, she just cares about mr. kwon's life.

so basically while her past doesn't have anything to do with two dudes being in a relationship, I think she's talking about the feeling of being different and growing up in an unnatural family dynamic. I don't think she's homophobic because she was more concerned about how the townsfolk will react, and I think her not supporting it is mostly because of those feelings of envy she has since mr. kwon just doesn't care what others think while she cares a lot.

I'm not defending her, obviously her reasons are very childish and she's projecting her feelings onto them which is not right, though she just seems to be really sheltered and troubled. she just needs to fix her wrongdoings and apologize to them. she's still annoying af but I don't think she's as evil as y'all are saying lol.

it was certainly a weird ass backstory to give her since it doesn't seem really related to anything, but I think it'll tie in well cuz it brings up the issue that ho was having where he's unsure of what's going to happen. I like that it comes from someone who's not necessarily homophobic but someone whose issues stem from not having a "perfect family" which may be what ho is concerned about.

“she's mostly projecting her feelings of alienation onto mr kwon. she seems to have issues with how different she and her family are, and because of that she's envious and resentful towards others (her friends) who have better lives with their families.” This made me think …, Could it be that she’s also, subconsciously, jealous/envious of the baby and her two dads? She had straight, conventional, traditional parents but was/is still a neglected child and she feels unwanted, unloved, unseen. While the baby has two fathers, they’re happy together and they adore her. If the author weaves this into Mi-ok’s character arc then her bg story would make more sense

yess, he wasnt born like taeman, he was just a normal kid

    BlueBerrie July 17, 2024 3:07 am

I agree but people being mad proves your point of how good the character is because he's able to draw out these emotions out of readers

I dont think many people are saying how the author shouldn't have taken this route

it's cause he's not sorry for what happened to taeman. my man almost die.

too much back and forth. plot has barely moved at all in 50 chapters and the characters are frustrating. no hate to the author of course, but this love triangle has not been handled well imo.

Well, get ready for what's coming. A deep dive into Ian & TJ backstory. From the moment they met to how they fall for eachother. It's dark. It's intense. It's sad. Y'all gonna miss these fluffy chapters cause there will be no coming back from the new revelations. Not spoiling it for you. Just wait & see.

story/plot is good but their relationship sucks. after all the stuff he did to him, bud just forgets and still decided to be with him? so many ppl supporting the relationship is concerning. I understand if ppl enjoy this for the plot but the relationship got completely ruined towards the end.

if you gaslight yourself hard enough into believing that the toxic stuff was just a nightmare you had, you can enjoy this series lol

I agree. I’m still reading it but I always thought it was so strange how Leewon dismissed all the unforgivable crap Caesar did to him. Correct me if I’m wrong but I also don’t remember Caesar ever bringing it up or apologizing. It’s so weird to have something so traumatic happen and then glossing over it like it wasn’t a really important part of the story. Kinda ruined it for me. It also feels out of character for Leewon because he always comes off as guarded and yet doesn’t understand how to set boundaries with Caesar. But I’m still curious as to where this story is going to go from here on out.

y'all are pissed off about what's been happening (understandable bc it is frustrating) but it's very realistic given their characters. sangwoo is not good at vocalizing his feelings and he has a very one track mind (one track life kind of person) so he's not used to what he's feeling. jaeyoung has complicated feelings towards romance and hasn't felt like he's been in love, but he doesn't understand how to deal with sangwoo. like it or not this stuff happens all the time in relationships, will probably happen to most of y'all where you have to adjust for the other person to be able to communicate properly.
