Currently reading so I’m not done yet, but he really was at least part of the cause why everything happened in the past. He never really acted in Dorothy’s best interests, he acted in the way he thought he could get Dorothy for himself and it splendidly backfired on him. He keeps thinking he knows her best (and sometimes it’s true) and he behaves in consequences, but his way of acting pushes Dorothy into difficult situations. Just like the light stone thing, he didn’t ask her if she wanted to do this, he just pushed it onto her. He considered she would still want to be empress like before and didn’t stop for a moment to ask her what she really wanted this time. The result is her having to lie and being uncomfortable. I don’t like when he’s manipulative like that. I honestly was kinda AH! IN YOUR FACE! when Theon committed suicide and it devastated Dorothy because… yeah of course that would happen given Theon’s power and you took everything from him… and Ethan couldn’t even realize or at least pretended not to realize the extent of Dorothy’s feelings for Theon, despite considering himself as the one who “knew her best”. That was really silly.
In itself the story is not bad but I wouldn’t reread it. It’s not even that long but I had a hard time being captivated by it. Theres magic, and the main character, Arnell, had a pretty strong personality and is driven by revenge… but other things come in the mix, such as love, that she doesn’t allow herself to fill at first because she doesn’t feel worthy though she secretly craves it (and craves to be happy). I’ll admit the opening is pretty strong with a suicide scene, but I just don’t know why it was difficult to read. The plot does a lot of back and forth, I feel like a lot of characters and setups are introduced when it could’ve been less and clearer. Some plot points also didn’t feel prepared, like the god and the human’s love story, or the sudden appearance of Arnell’s family at the very end. In all case it’s a fine story and it’s not that bad, but things could’ve been better
Good that she’s out of the mental curse- but am I the only one who feels like it could’ve done better? The transition from being with the sorcerer to being back with her fiancé and everything is peachy and she’s mastering her power, without more insights about her or more explanations (chapters 56-58 or so) feels pretty brutal!
It’s the kind of story I will most likely reread because overall it was good and the drawings are really nice, I also like the premise of the story and the twists in it. But here’s the thing, the foreshadowing is almost none existent / poor planning. Some important elements for the plots appear very late and so it seems like it was more of a last minute solution, which is a shame. I wish we’d have some bonus scenes as well. Still, overall, I had no problem reading this
Sohee is a developer who created a game, but all the merit of that game was stolen by her “friend” Yuri who bullies her. When Sohee unexpectedly passes away, she awakes in her game as the first princess and villainess Violeta. The only problem is that Yuri is also here, playing the Main Character, her sister. At first Sohee tries to help Yuri as the game is the dearest to her but soon she realizes that Yuri doesn’t care as much and may ruin it all if she lets her do it…
Hey the story was pretty great! I’ll say first that the drawings are really pretty. It can be frustrating to see Violeta acting as a doormat at first (and in that case I wished Yuri suffered more), but the story is really interesting. Violeta progresses through the datable characters they meet and as she realizes that she will have to step in for this world she treasures so much. The story is also pretty short with 50 chapters so it wasn’t hard to go through at all. There were some parts where the chapters were cut a bit hastily and that could’ve been more explained but overall it’s still solid!
An amazing work. I honestly love reincarnation AU made in present time. This one hugely made me think of another (I forgot the name) which happens in modern time too and that I loved as well. I just find it refreshing. This story had a lot of plot twist on plot twist which made it very entertaining. If I’m honest, I couldn’t drop the story at all from start to finish, I read it in maybe one or two days. The MC is interesting and fun, and the ML is pretty sweet. The ending also warmed my heart, I was scared they wouldn’t go that direction. The whole shaman thing really surprised me I would’ve never guessed it was what it was about. Overall such a good piece!! Immediate 5 stars from me.
Kinda got me crazy. Cause at the same time the FL was scared her brother’s plan would fail etc etc, but on the other hand, she doomed the entire place with her actions? I mean maybe it would have gone differently but. She threw the poisoned wine meaning the emperor didn’t die, and she cleaned his coat meaning he’d know the wine was poisoned. I started this because it seemed interesting and wow I like the design of the ML a lot but so far I hope the FL gets kinda better because it wasn’t great
I really liked the story if I’m honest. It has an interesting plot and it captivated my attention so easily compared to a few other reads lately. Rayne is an interesting character and I honestly find the ML cute in several occasions- his attachment to her, his fear to hurt her, but the way he loves her is really good. And the way Rayne loves him back is sweet as well.
I’d put a little minus to the story though, because some plot points are dealt with too fast (the queen for example) or forgotten (Marchmond, Rayne going berserk??)
Overall still a very pleasant read. 4/5 I think

This is really an amazing read, the drawings are beautiful, and the story is super interesting. I’m at chapter 46 so far and I had a hard time letting go of it yesterday (went to sleep too late whoops). I think it’ll definitely go among my top read if it keeps going that way. The ML kind of makes me think of the one in second life of the trash princess who is “too beautiful and he’s aware of it” and it was hilarious. I honestly think the way the FL falls for him in this story is really interesting- because she never experienced love like that before but it’s also a dilemma due to her position. I was wondering whether to start this read and I’m glad I did!
