Normalizing or even downplaying r*pe or gaslighting or any other toxic behavior this manhwa has shown, shouldn‘t be okay.
So no, we won’t calm down „over a work of fiction“. Root for one of the characters all you want but accept, that they aren’t good people.
No, apologizing or begging for forgiveness doesn‘t redeem their actions.
Yeah, it helps their character development and self reflection is super important. But no, that still doesn’t make them a good character nor does it magically delete their doings from the past.
Ps: This is just one example of the many mangas/manhwas/manhuas out there, that still normalizes abusive and toxic relationships.
I‘m not saying, it shouldn‘t be portrait but It‘s the way HOW it‘s portrait. Abusive relationships happen way more than we think. And normalizing this or even romaticizing it doesn‘t help. We need more educational work on these topics, and MORE TRIGGER WARNINGS!
Yeah it‘s a work of fiction but considering how many people read this, the publisher/author should be more aware of how to display these topics.
Some don't realize why most readers are upset by it. Yes, this is fiction, but a story like this is set in a (realistic) modern viewpoint with average characters and their daily life, so people will view it with a more moral outlook. This story isn't some heavy dark ambience theme story like others, which is why most don't turn a blind eye ESPECIALLY when we were getting an MC close to choosing themselves only. So seeing him go back to the one that hurt him just throws everything back. That is why most readers here are upset.
Minus the reincarnation. It's just a real average life story and some readers can actually put themselves in it. <We as humans like to compare the aspect of irl to fiction when a story is more settled to real life.>
None of the 3 characters are good. All 3 of them are abusive af, and both the male leads would even be in jail if the story happened irl.
But the fact that so few people are capable of calling all 3 of them out, lowkey proves that a majority of it is fake concern just because their favorite isn't endgame. Because if it was real concern that favorite's sexual harassment, stalking, sexual exploitation etc would damn well be called out too.

People have every right to be upset by the outcomes of the story but not with someone that don't share the same thought. At the end this is just fiction it won't hurt you as much as a person would
… I‘m living for the Mika and Fei crumbs that we get (≧∀≦). Never thought that I would ship them but here I am, giggling every time they have a moment. We definitely need a happy end for both couples!
This was one of the most confusing and weird manhwa‘s I‘ve ever read.
The plot is a mess, the last chapters don’t even feel like they have a plot, it‘s just… a game of cat and mouse in a dream world and mind games.
Also, the characters having THIS conflicted feelings towards each other was a pain to read. 1/10 for the art, do not recommend.
