To be honest, I saw the panel of her sleeping all the time on Pinterest and thought "Must be a funny one." And decided to read this.
The title should have been a obvious indicator that this would be quite heavy. Ignoring all that, I started this blind and as I read, my mind began to tick-tick-tick until it blew. So many characters that would have been wasted to a stereotypical role were all used beautifully. The comedy accompanis the heaviness of the politics, emotions, the trauma and horror so well, it always manages catches me off guard. One moment I'm laughing at Lucy and Kill arguments then I'm witnessing a PTSD flashback.
Most characters also have layers upon layers to them, then they're described by a single sentence and you just think it's perfectly fits them and genuinely makes sense. Duke Kill or Dill could have just been a smart villain who acts as a stepping stone to a typical heroine's story but he isn't. That means a lot to me.

I read the novel version first cuz I'm an impatient psycho and it was funnier in words because there was this big ahh paragraphs of him rethinking and regretting then bam! She confessed to liking his actions and he just went blank from shock
He scored crying lololol he cries just the same way in the past . And the red thread rock being shocked is so funny (≧∀≦)
Seeing them being so lovey-dovey is Turing me into the grinch before Christmas (□ n □ )
Did anyone also got scared at the chapter where he kissed the CEO while he was sleeping then in the next slide, my guy opened his eyes like the red demon from insidious. Scared the dying crap outta me btw we love lovers who match each others freak LMAO. There's like levels to these confinement stories (≧∀≦)

The thing is I read the first part where it talks about the original novel but it never said anything about what he did to the original mc either. Was that expanded on later?
