I can agree with you, the amount of rape in yaoi is disgusting and the fact that it's a plot device suggesting something fucked up needs to happen to either of the characters for them to enter a relationship. I know yaoi doesn't speak for the community of gay men but it has the effect of making people think that a gay couple can't fall in love like...... 1 reply
