I think what they said is a spur of moment. You know we got emotional when we aren't faced/served with logical/rational reason.
It's not that we hope the mom would be gone fr, it's just we expect there would be a moment of mom & the child to be honest to one another. Which in ch24 we really got it. People have complicated mind and emotion, and sometimes they overthink before anything. Remember what we feel can become what we think and what we think become what we do. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I was invested in the story because it was not your typical romance manhwa, it was breath of fresh air, but now....not so much im dropping it. It feels sad, I invested my time and emotions into this, some people continue to read it because they also invested their time, but I can't anymore. Im not gonna comment on the characters or the story, because I see a lot of passionate people don't take it very well. Not to trash on the art, but couldn't they have made more effort on the design of the dragons and the things revolving around them. They are wearing a horse saddle and harness, live in a verry small cage and eat cabbage meat and fruit, they are very small as well. For me it just looks too silly. Im sure the story is great and all, but I would have preferred a different approach to the art style. Idk if im the only one.
tbh I'm quite happy with the dragons art since I'm so used to seeing clearly copy pasted assets that just look AWFUL, and clearly don't belong in that art style. As for the saddles, I mean how else are they supposed to safely ride a dragon? No need to over complicate it right? I do agree that a fruit and veggie diet for a dragon seems strange, and I also agree that their pens are kinda small even though they walk them and let them fly daily. All in all this world is pretty consistent, so I just view everything from the food, dragon sizes, pens, care, ect as something unique to that world. Aka I see the dragons in this story as a separate entity than what we in our world commonly perceive them as. I kinda remember the mc remarking in the first few chapters that dragons in her current world aren't entirely the same as the mythological dragon depictions of her old one. Basically it feels kinda like the difference between myth and reality if that makes any sense. Sorry for the tangent, I'm not saying the art and story are perfect, just that the consistence is nice to see.

So managed to read to chapter 3.....and I can't. The ML is pushy, invading personal space, full of himself just annoying. The female lead is dumb. I hate when authors do that... the male lead loves the female lead(for reasons unknown, because we don't see it) they then try to make the female lead to be that extraordinary person that we don't see actually we just need to believe it, she then acts stubborn doesn't return his confession but OH NO HE'S HOT. Bruh if I was beefing with a guy that is overly confident and annoying and then "forcing" a marriage on me because he suddenly says that he loves me......yeah no i would despise him more because he clearly doesn't respect me. I think the story would have been better if we got to see how he falls in love with her and how she grows to be that "amazing" person and then this happens and then we will also know if the female lead feel something for him, because now IF she has showed him that he doesn't like him(there were no hints of feeling) and he sees that and STILL proposes it feel like he just want to possess her without actually respecting her. A have seen a LOT of authors doing that, and thing the reason is because they are lazy to write anything of value.

Naaah, her eyes are waaaay too big for her head, it's distracting (◡). And it's only her, i though we grew from that phase in manga and manhwa.
So I started reading this and the ML is shit, he is very abusive towards the MC and I hate him, mind you im at ch 15. And don't start me on the MC very naive, stupid and has no self respect(a lot of mc in other manhwas have this problem) kinda like a doormat. My question is does it get better, does the Ml redeeme himself, does he acknowledge he was treating him badly, and does the MC get a backbone and respect for himself.

okay so in short, there is a redemption because his previous behaviour to the MC was just a misunderstanding that they BOTH hadnt realise was a misunderstanding and they cleared it up so its like its better between them. MC ends up fending more for himself and takes up jobs by his own volition for the name of his empire which is cunning but yeah theres a nice communication part between the two clearing things up and we get sweeter moments. i think its worth it
