I have never in my life rather read the novel than the manhwa before.
and to me it feels like the male leads lore could be deeper but chapters like 23 confuse me so much and make the reason of his actions seem weaker than probably was intended to be
It's confusing because there are things missing.
One of the biggest problems is that they didn't really explain dominant alphas. They also left out gammas.
Irc it was never mentioned in the manhwa that Chase manifested late and what that means, but that plays a big role concerning his personality, but also with the problem he has in his family. Because dominant alphas mainfesting late feel and understand emotions, those who manifest too early have problems feeling/understanding emotions. etc.
It also didn't really help, that they drew child Chase with purple eyes. They were actually blue back then.
And to really understand the Miller family, you need to read the other Miller stories. You only see Chase's pov, but you don't get enough informations about his family through him. You don't understand why the family is so messed up, and how crazy they are.
