This is still by far the best father-daughter manhwa I've ever read. Sure, there are a lot of adorable and strong child MCs (Leona, Florentia) with good plot but this story sets itself apart by having the most solid plot with no lose ends manhwa. The entire story revolves around Claude and Athy's relationship and it was kept that way until the end. Plus, all side characters are equally important. Tbh, this is the only story where I find all side characters even the villains lovable. C'mon, Lucas? Ezekiel? Jeannette? Felix? Lily? Anastacius? Aeternitas? Mr. White? All of them have their own story to tell and they were all given the highlights they deserve.
This made me laugh and cry and touched and satisfied with the entire story. To me, it felt like I've grown up with Athy. I saw her struggles, her defeat, her success, her starting to be conscious of love, her love for her father, and her success of being the crown princess in the end. I still want to have the side stories tho. Hopefully they will give it to us.
PS: I've read this 4 times now and chapter 102 still makes me cry like shit. Claude's POV is heartbreakingly touching. ╥﹏╥
They fight, they make up, they forgive, they are not perfect but they still choose to be a family. All of them combined is so heartwarming. (▰˘◡˘▰)
the communication in their relationship is so strong! they aren't afraid to admit their mistakes and it's making me all giggly inside, reading this manga is really healing.
and also! sometimes fights happen, and people make mistakes and say things without thinking (aka the last chapter) but it makes them more human and 3D characters in the way they are prototyped in the story!
(also tadehima, oakehari is another really good omegaverse manga!)
So she is ok purifying the wolf who she already knows as the 2nd son of the other family with abilities (who can basically tattle her out to them and capture her because they will know she is rtiom) but she's scared shit to purify her new and caring family. She didn't even think twice about healing him and played innocent so they will let the wolf into their house (consciously knowing that it could practically start a fight between 2 rival families). I mean if you want to be cautious that badly you should've not done that right? Sheesh this girl. ( ̄∇ ̄")
she doesn't want to be discovered, but then proceeds to purify rival families' sons and can't purify her own loving father and brother
Ikr. I was like - girl, you were so afraid to be captured by any other family with abilities because you might get abused again. She was so afraid that duke Gerwyn or whatever will find about her but then proceeds with purifying the son from another rival family without a second thought and brought him to her new family's house. Smh. Remember during the time in the haunting grounds when that evil duke tried to harass her brother because he noticed that his brother has been healed a bit by a rtiom? She consciously made that decision knowing the dangers but no, she was no, I want to save him. But she's very adamant on healing her family. Lol. Trauma or not, I don't get her logic. Her trust issues does not apply to all. She'd rather trust a stranger. ( ̄∇ ̄")
