What I really like about this is that all of the conflicts were not resolved easily. It was not HEA just like that between the 2 of them. Even after they confess to each other, I like that it was shown how Winter still feels anxious of Violet leaving him. And him doing his best to make up for everything that happened in the past. It was repeatedly shown how devastated he was and how he felt so much regret for what he's done.
This is a very frustrating story which is heavy on miscommunication and the angst just seriously goes on for looong. But how the ML redeemed himself is satisfying for me. The redemption arc was not shown in just 2-3 chapters and then they are ok, they moved on, the FL loves the ML with all her heart. Nope, it was literally shown until the end.
Overall, this is a nice story. It shows how complex people emotions and mentality can be. And little Theo is so cute! (●'◡'●)ﾉ

This seems like a nice story that is poorly adapted to a manhwa. Idk, maybe the execution?
This is actually pretty sad. Looking at it, the CP and FL seemed to truly cared for each other (given the flashbacks and all). Too bad that they were given bad circumstances. CP was put on a lot of pressure and expectation from the emperor. FL was forced to live a life full of burden and responsibility as the crown princess. She was raised to be perfect and tough. And when there was a sudden change in the prophecy, she was so hurt when the only lifeline she had asked for a divorce.
To be fair, the CP did not cheat. He was left with no choice as he is required to fulfill his responsibility as the next emperor. Could they have broken up in a better way? Yes. If only they talked like every civilized person would. But of course if they did that then we wouldn’t have a story. Lol.
I would feel bad if he didn't try to imprison her multiple times and go full yandere after dumping her
Basically, what I get is -
1. Lyrica is so precious. She's pure but not naive. She deserves all the love. We must protect her at all cost. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
2. I'm on the edge with the mother.
Lyrica being abused aside, in the past life she even tried to marry her off to a 70yrs old man when she was 16. I know she's trying to be a better mom in this life but...she needs more redemption fr. She died and get back and she said sorry and I love you. And I'm like - what? Ok..But whenever I see Lyrica's happy and innocent face I can't help but hate the mom again. How could you? I can't imagine how hard it must've been for the little girl. In this life, she's currently 8yrs old and is already traumatized from her mother. She still can't trust her actions up to now. In the past, she lived until 16 and the flashback we got was her mom forcing her to marry an old man because it will "help" her mother. And we all know she will do everything for her mother. She was abused all her life. ╥﹏╥
Oh well..that's that. I hope our little Lyrica will live a very happy life.
Also the mother isn't really seeing lyrica If you think about it the emperor has seen more of lyrica than the mother has seen her.
No cuz ur totally right like I am not a big fan of the mother be od what u said and she never completely trust what Lyrica does if even when she was the one providing for the family and done other things to prove that although she is a little girl is isn't naive to what's going around her. She sees problems and she tries to solve it.
And personally if Lyrica was older I don't think she would have loved her mother like she does now. If anything the mother is lucky a child's desire for their parents usually sticks until they mature more.
im really liking how they’re handling it so far tbh! the scene where her mom was being protective and being dismissive of lyrica’s wishes, and was then able to /realize/ that, was a powerful one. she recognized that just because she’s giving lyrica affection, validation, and materialistic luxuries, it all goes out the window if she doesn’t actually change her fundamental behavior. she WANTS to change right now, and she’s putting the effort, which is an amazing start.
i do agree though that we need more scenes of her development, but im sure they’re coming, it makes me sad when people refuse to give her a chance, but it’s understandable as well. i think she’s doing the best she can, and im super happy about it.
also you gotta think about lyrica’s perspective!! she loves her mother, and for a child who needs and WANTS their parent, them changing and getting their shit together is the best thing they can do. people want her to disown her mother and hate her, but that’s easier said than done sometimes. (also as a latina who’s culture surrounds family, it personally irritates me when when ppl act like cutting off family members and treating them like strangers is the best solution instead of attempting to fix the relationship. family members should at least attempt to support each other through hard times.)
I agree with you but I can't dismiss the part when the mother thought she was gonna get the beet sugar and make money with it so she can escape with her daughter or something like that and was surprised she didn't get it , Lyrica was the one to get it and what did she think of ? She thought of planting them to get more so that the supply doesn't run out and she then could share them ( I think ) <(￣︶￣)>
Maybe I've misunderstood some things but that's my interpretation
People tends to forget that Lyrica’s mother has nothing on her name so compared to the emperor who has everything already, the empress would have less time.
Q: Why is she spending more time with the emperor?
- because she has a role to fulfill. She has to keep entertaining the emperor or he might get bored and she has to prove herself continuously that she’s worth the deal they have.
She’s not avoiding Lyrica just bcs she wants to. She’s sacrificing her time with her right now so she can spend time with her daughter in the future as much as she wants. That’s what a parent with nothing on their name does to make sure that their children would have a better future but readers just don’t get it.

yeah i think there was a misunderstanding as well but i can’t say for sure since the scenes were pretty vague! for now it just seems like the mom is confused that the beat isn’t there, and she can’t really ask about it as then it’d seem suspicious that she knows it exists in the first place. we’ll probably see her reaction to lyrica using it soon ╮(￣▽￣)╭
