basically ML's family forces good luck to be rich (through extreme worshipping of a god) but good luck also comes with bad luck. MC was picked by the god (ML) to take on all the bad luck, the god inside ML has an obsession with the MC and basically manipulated MC to come back and make him think that without ML he is nothing. In the end they're trapped in toxic love caused by both of their physiological issues (obsession for ML and kind of like Stockholm syndrome for MC)
