strangers that met in unusual circumstances to more than friends is always so unique. the characters' interactions feel so natural and they suit each other very well. i love how the story shows them just enjoying each other's company, simply talking about life and death while drinking. it really adds depth into their relationship.
the atmosphere is immaculate, something that i haven't read about in years. there's almost a sense of melancholy, which I am so scared for. there's no tragedy tag so it better be happy....
why even add a side couple when no one will want to see them?
Scott isn't a bad character, it's just that Brett and Hayden overshadow him so much that his screen time is unnecessary and unwanted. Also, he has no impact on the story, other than pushing the two together in the beginning.
I'm glad he got his plot, but wrap it up and give more time to the main couple dam.

Exactly this! It's not the SA itself even an issue here (apart from the fact that SA is way too often forced into BL series obviously), but people who neglect the SA and normalize it! SA is SA, something terrible and disgusting, no matter how much you like the character or how 'hot' he is in your opinion! And comparing them to 'worse' cases doesn't make them less of the rapist... it's insane how some readers are brainwashed by that overloaded SA in BL at this' point!
the psychological tag was in fact necessary and it's put to good use. the way MC's delusions are portrayed are subtle but still noticeable. overall, good plot so far. for those that read the TWs, are okay with it, read on, it's great.

i usually stay tf away from these stories, but this one had me confused and addicted so i had to read what's released of the manhwa. i didnt process the synopsis so i thought yaba and cocoa(ine) were the couple...and was severely disappointed. it couldve been interesting how yaba resolves his resentment but seems like that's impossible. also, why does MC look like a child in ML's arms.
ignoring the romance, im really interested in coca(ine), his goals, and thoughts.

interesting plot and i really adore the MC, but the ML was pissing me off so much during the early chapters. as much as it has a good plot, unfortunately, the BL aspect is very prominent, so i hope that they'd tune it down js a lil so that it delivers a slow burn properly. I sure hope MC's master is not the ML's previous life...

it's clear from the cover and the art style that this is not for the weak-hearted. other bl's might be less gory, but this is less toxic (it still is, to some extent). I would describe this one as grim, bleak, and almost disturbing but in a good way. Complex characters with a plot that feels like the calm before the storm.
The storytelling through art is also rather unique. Transitions, parallels, and the progression of time is shown without text. The dialogue has everything strictly necessary, but the art does the most.
Really hope that the quality doesn't drop and the ending won't kill me#－.－)
traded one psycho for an unstable psycho but at least this one's more interesting. i actually love Yuri Gable, his way of speaking and his personality makes everything simpler. the first season really feels like a breath of fresh air, different from the constant...heaviness in the main story. although Xinlu moving on from Tay is offscreen, i do appreciate the story showing his progress in moving on from Tay.
if this vibe continues, it'll definitely be better than the main story
