Why is the plot only half plotting? Isn’t Richard Cameron the face of Ryan Wilgrave? Did no one remember what his portrait looked like? Am I missing something?!? They should’ve all lost their shit when they saw him but no… author abandoned original plot (what happened to the nightmares?) in favor of an undercover agent and estranged lover thriller.
I honestly loved this from the beginning but when the plot hole became impossible to ignore, it lost whimsy. I’m still reading, but it makes me upset.
So what I’ve gathered from the missing chapter is that Haesu visited that bully who’s dying, decided not to kill get in front of Eunha as a “gift” yet, because she’s upset about Geonwoo (he does still think Eunha will like to watch him kill that girl for some reason), and decides to come back later. He notices that the last rope on the tree has broken and he’s able to walk free now (at least that’s how it translated) but when he thinks about Eunha going with him somewhere, the daydream goes dark and he envisions her decomposing and cursing him. The words he “hears” her say are being spoken by the scary tree figure with teeth. Suddenly he standing in water. He looks startled and asks why it keeps appearing in front of him and confusing him with unnecessary interventions. Haesu then asks who “it” is. It replies that it is Him, “Zaman” (that’s what the translation said so…?) and turns the question back on Haesu: “Who are you?” Haesu doesn’t get a chance to reply before it rips his face off, exposing an identical scary face. Then it says to what used to be Haesu (Haesu’s student body with a toothy branches head), “You’re constant attempts to defy me are pathetic. Stop imitating a human and accept me” claiming that it’s Haesu’s inner self and ‘true nature’. It references his life holding nothing but suffering and because of that, this is his only path to salvation. Then the chapter cuts to the white haired guy inviting himself into Geonwoo’s hospital area with fruit and telling his grandpa (who was lamenting that he should have done something before it got to this point) that the hospital can’t help but he can. AND THEN the events of chapter 57 happen.
Guys there’s a whole chapter missing. I’m not about to try and translate anything, but there’s literally a whole chapter missing where Haesu goes to see that bully bitch, has an internal war, talks to the scary part of him that’s not him (I’m pretty sure he’s a separate ghost from the entity called Guest), it rips his face off again when he starts to argue with it, then he returns back to Eunha. We also see more of Geoyonwu…. Is that his name? sunbae and the moments leading up to the white haired dude arriving. That chapter is likely full of Haesu lore. Please, if anyone can upload, that would be awesome.
Oh so it was a middle finger! Amazing. No wonder he showed up. Taehee was all like, "Ugh how boring, she's so lame, Taeha's not reacting, stupid everyone..." then immediately runs over when he gets attention. Honestly both brothers are the same in what they want (attention/love), but differ in how they acknowledge and obtain it.
The thing where they spoke to each other's child self was kinda cool. Tied together well but it was like reading Harry Potter again, where Harry thought it was his dad's patronus but it was him from the future. Lots of interesting storytelling, even if the characters fit into perfect archetypes and the villains were just evil without redemption. I love the artwork, even if the mouths are weird in the beginning... I think the artwork definitely improved. Overall I'd recommend.

It’s cute but kinda dumb… but I still like it. Love a good slow burn with a tsundere ml, regardless of how predictable the “mystery”
