I only read 13 chapters of this but i dont think ill pick it back up. The premise isnt really there and it failed to hook me in from the start. The art is also hard to look at im not a big fan. I despise love and first sight tropes so the way the ml acted when je first met her wasnt so bad. Although I think people are being too harsh with this, their complaints arent unfounded. The story does seem tame and a little boring at times. There arent many dramatic events and her stoic personality drags it out even more. It feels more like a calm slice of life read more than anything, which is why i think most people dont like it that much. I can appreciate a good slow burn but this series doesnt have a clear line of plot. Im not really sure where the direction is headed, since it spends alot of time around the daily mundane activities of the mc. I know the plot moves forward with her stepchildren and the emperor, but those events rarely take place at all so nothing important really goes on in this.
I feel like i domt mind it though. It was a really refreshing read even though it felt a little dragged out when the whole fairy lake thing happened. Although i want it to pick up the pace i feel like the inconsistency would be too jarring. Also since not much plot has been revealed so far an ending this soon would feel too rushed. Honestly idk i only had praises for this at the start because it was so different from other rofans. Ill just have to see where it goes from here

And honestly author could have flipped the mood and made it a bit more angsty but none of them properly solved any issue and it just kept going downhill. My standards for ratings will genuinely never recover from this site. In literally every other context an 8/10 is a great score so why is it that on here entering the 8.X/10 means that a story is absolute dogshit. I cant even expect a series to be good unless its 9.5 or above.
I feel like im missing out on hidden gems just because a rating is in the 8.X or below, but then i give one a chance and it ends up being straight cheeks. Sometimes i dont even feel inclined to give 9.0-9.3s a try, since they either end up being underrated or shit from the same 8.X ass

Its pretty good so far but it honestly feels the same as any other idol manhwa… dont wanna get ahead of myself since this only had 20chs but its pretty standard so far.
The mcs personality is pretty nice but the personalities of his other members are like,,, cliche for this genre. He firs well and has a pretty nice dynamic with the other characters. I like his relationship with jeho the most. Since i feel like his passive actions influenced jeho the most, it just feels more realistic.
Dont have much to say since there arent many chapters yet but i am pretty excited for how this is gonna go.

Im between 4 and 5 stars but ill give it 5 for now because i got left on a cliffhanger and im itching for the next chapter. I think its pretty solid. It had massive potential at the start, i think it lost a bit but its not bad.
Uhhh first the plot is a bit messy. I think the pacing is fine its just, they switch povs too often. The author has this habit of switching to a character in the future then going backwards. Idk how to explain but, its done way too much and ifs a little annoying. It keeps cutting at good parts and switching to a pov idgaf about (cough second prinxd cough).
Also like, the romance scenes are cute. ONLY when its her and noah. I know its not really harem cuz ml has been established since the beginning but the scenes w the second prinxd honestly just feel unnecessary. So i get the crow prince as the second ml and conflict but the second prince is just irritating me he gets way too much screentime. His character isnt even bad. I like him as the villain but the romance is so unnecessary.
After they showed sena being in the world as well, i feel like there was just 40 chapters of straight romance. The plot wasnt moving at all i was goinf crazy. There are so many plot holes and untiuched details, i love the romance and all but i need a good mix of both.

Holy shit this is genuinely incredible. Ive never seen a story with no loose ends. Everything was connected and explained in season 2 and the time loop blew my mind. Even in season 1 things werent left confusing. This is genuinely the funniest and most incredible story ive ever read. I was originaly rooting for eugene. It really felt like the author was pushing for them bc of his screentime. And i also wasnt really feeling yan and clicias concept all that much. But literally around the end im starting to get it. Since thestory is wrapping up and rheir relationship is pretty much just starting, i hope the author does them justice and give them lots of screentime together. This was a very solid read! Im stuck between 4 and 5 stars because it was so good at the start but i can tell the author gave up.
Somewhere around 2/3 in the story started getting very rushed. It just didnt give off the refreshing feeling like it did at the start. What ended up happening to the prince?? And what about the original lover glunn was suppised to have. He genuinely only had one frame after all that build up. The ending was happy and cute but i didnt really like it??
I really liked the way this manhwa talked about the culture differences. How ennid wasnt used to same sex relationships being legal. I just really liked how this author went about it. And as frustrating of a character the prince is, he is well written. His dilemna with his sexuality and his social status was realistic and i dont think its presented this way for these stories set in this time period
Also the side characters had some serious development. I really enjoyed ruker and the other dudes character.
Umm im running out of things to say but this was a great story. I dont wanna downplay ot because of the mid ending but it was solid.

I dont think its worth reading tbh. I dont even know how i lasted all 80 chapters of this.
The concept just isnt unique at all. Poor orphan working multiple jobs. Like okay, thats never been done before. I wouldnt complain if it was just that either. Theres no substance in the plot at all. They barely showed him working any of those jobs they claimed. So when it comes to actually understanding his character, it feels inaccurate cuz i cant empathize with his struggles at all. Like in pizza delivery man i felt bad for him?? And in low tide i felt bad for euihyun?? But for this one i just cant seem to care for the character or understand his struggles as well.
I always say this but manhwa authors always have shitty dialouge. The things they say and the way they say it are so unrealistic. It sounds more like narration than anything. With exception to some scenes, like the rooftop one, idk its just another care of tell instead of show.
Ikay i really wanna continue and write a proper review foe this but im tired and it was just so unbelievably mid.
