It reminds me ks. But yeah they all have the tragedy, psychological, broken character's in common. It's also well written, it's not as good as ks but its still quite good, and it's better than warehouse imo. Warehouse was compared heavily with ks but it wasn't as good as ks I've felt. It's like ks > unchanged man > warehouse

it’s been such a while since i read both of them and i bingeread both of them but now the ml of this manhwa reminds me of the ml of At the End of the Road manhwa lol

Ks is not as twisted as this one tho. Both main characters still have some kind of normal sense in ks.

Your perception of twisted and normal can't be the same as mine cause theres no way dohun and yuwon is more twisted than sangwoo and beom

I respect your perception but I'm curious about your POV. To me, I can't trust Dohun and Yuwon at all. Their truth is not the truth. But Sangwoo and Beom aren't giving me that. It's basically like a typically serial killer case.

Oh I understand so basically dohun and yuwon are unpredictable which makes them dangerous. But as a reader I find them both predictable; dohuns apathetic towards everyone except yuwon, he's very intelligent and level headed, and yuwon has a way of attracting losers who'll bully him, he has a strong sense of justice, he's paranoid and often let's his emotions take over. But if youre thinking from the character's pov, they cannot trust eachother, both have no clear idea of what eachother is actually going through, making things way complicated. Dohun can read yuwon but not entirely cause if he could, he'd have communicated clearly about everything instead of driving yuwon wild with paranoia. Both character's are severely damaged and it's like they're on opposite ends of the spectrum. They can't trust eachother cause their communication sucks. Also the narrator's are unreliable (I kinda trust dohuns narration tho)
Now coming to sangwoo, he's a serial killer who is driven by his emotions. His mother graped him and now he copes by having a thing for her. He succumbed to his trauma and acted on his impulses. He can never love anyone and neither can beom. They are pretty typical, fucked up childhood giving rise to typical fucked up people. Whereas dohun is an anomaly, even after all that abuse, he didn't take the usual route (serial killer like sangwoo) and I get how that can make it seem more eery or twisted. He did kill those 3 boys tho but it was purely out of necessity to protect yuwon, which is admirable for someone with a past like dohuns but it could very well be just bad writing.
When you said "twisted", all I thought of was how sangwoo is a ruthless killer, how abusive he is to beom, how his own mother graped him, how she tried to kill him, how both sangwoo and beoms pov cannot be trusted, how obsessed beom was with sangwoo, how beom got graped by his unc, how miserable he is, beom is also kinda scary and sangwoo himself admits it, how both met a tragic end etc (i read ks many years ago and i dont remember everything). In my head dohun isn't very realistic and that makes me appreciate him less but I could be wrong. What makes unchanged man so twisted is dohun going against the norms, rest of the characters are pretty typical in how they respond to their circumstances. Now I can see that both works are twisted, just in different ways and therefore cannot be compared as to which is more twisted.
