The art style was never that impressive but now it just seems much more lazy and lackluster. the story has been dragging the Majin arc for too long making it kinda useless sadly.
This is exactly the problem with letting spoiled brats get their way, with the emperor coddling and helping him without any end. he becomes an idiot who believes that everything belongs to him since he is the "legitimate" heir being the emperor's direct bloodline, unlike ML who was a nephew.
I was so excited to see how humiliated Wu Ruo's family in the other city could feel conflict over Wu Ruo being their true savior. the novel is much more comprehensive, And by this time Wu Ruo is already taking proper care of our Dandan. It's a little disappointing how they kinda skipped over or removed important context to scenes. plus the way they're rushing this manhua is making me worried about how they might just remove Hei Xeuyi and Wu Ruo's intimate scene.

Honestly manhuas are always lacking proper storyboard when it comes to novel adaptations.

I pushed myself to read this manga, absolutely stupid and hilarious. The emotional parts were fine enough, theres was just too many comedic moments with the main couple.
But the worst couple in this is Tanza and Meryl, Tanza was doing so well, then he went and forgave Meryl just like that. Maryle done pissed me off the most, how dare he do that to Mithril??
