Yechan is already grown up, is just that he acts that way to people who are close around him. Take it as an example that we may act more ridiculously around our family rather than people outside in public. If you see how he first greets his lover's sister and mother + other people he's formal but not all the time that bad <(￣︶￣)>

chp 9 “my scumbags are fat but I’ve never killed anyone” probably refers to “이(는) 살이 쪘어도 사람을 죽이지는 않았다” (I don’t have raws) which would be more closely translated to “Even though the lice were fat, they didn't kill anyone”
Symbolically meaning “even tho I’m greedy/selfish, I’d never kill anyone”.
I’m not korean i’m chinese, but the moment I saw that I knew it was much more likely an idiom than a “mental breakdown rambling” as noted by the fan translator…
Did this rub anyone wrong as well?? The language used to depict media is just as important as the translation itself. Language carries culture and symbolism and the fact that the translator didn’t even bother to check that it was an idiom and dismissing it pissed me off so bad

Here’s the summary of the entire story for those curious by the bad reviews:
obsessed brother (younger) x adopted brother (older) scenario. Rich cunts couldn’t conceive so they adopted but then had a biological baby later and because they’re rich evil cunts, the biological son was favored which caused the older son to feel insecure and competitive. The story is set around the time the spoiled younger brother decides to stop fucking around and join the family company (to fuck with his older brother), which causes instability in the inheritance the older brother has been working towards his entire career. yada yada older sometimes wake up with head from younger, older eventually gets raped by younger, older tries to kill younger, we find out this happens a lot (not the rape but the attempted murder everytime you gets toying goes too far), older actually does nearly end up killing younger after being coerced into sex with the idea of the younger stepping down (lie obvs)
I think the older yields after younger survives and tells him there’s no evidence he just tried to kill younger ???

Yeah. The liked it better without the whole Miron addition. That just seems to have dragged it down. There was plenty of angsty, scary and dramatic plot potential with just the outbreak and mystery with what the dad’s intentions were. They really did not need to add a psychopathic serial killer trying to play house into the mix.
I think Miron would’ve worked out as separate stories, but this? Nah fam I’m out
