Hey guys, its been months since Ive properly read BL and I'm curious which new BL are worth reading? There seems to be SO much and its a little overwhelming.

Sangyang: the Wanderer pls its so good. the plots actually amazing like my jaws on the floor the whole read. not 18+ unfortunately tho if you're looking for that (cuz its a manhua and the ccp overlords hate the gays ).
I use Quotev but I dont really get much engagement there, my stories arent amazing. I wonder if theres any other sites that are accepting of explicit BL stories? I know Wattpad thinks my stories are too much as I had them removed there. :')
ao3 is naturally your best bet. use the tagging system properly and you'll be fine. you can also upload your stories on tumblr. in general though, original stories (which is what i assume you're writing) tend to not get much attention compared to fanfics written for established fandoms, that might be why you're not getting that much engagement.
Ao3 is a good place to upload stories of any kind, BUT if you're looking engagement it is NOT FOR YOU. Ao3 does not have any algorithm that will boost your works or recommend it to other people. Ao3 is an archive. It's a place to store things, like a warehouse that we're allowed to visit from time to time. Just fyi.
If you are looking for engagement, try scribblehub. Last I checked, there's a community of (original) BL writers there who actively support and promote each other. Join their discord.
But the above comment is true. Original works don't do well unless you market your work, because there's no established fandom yet, so there's minimal engagement.
Thank you! And yeah, my stories are originals so thats why I dont really use AO3, but I also find their editor a little overcluttered?
I took a look at Scribblehub and it looks good! Do you know if it's alright with explicit erotica stories? I took a look at the terms of service but it doesn't really say anything about that.
Now that there's even a sliver of a chance the horse won't assault and bully Dan, author isn't interested in writing it anymore. I guess it's only fun when you're torturing your characters
