i really like the way the chapters are strcutured! the author kind of throws you in the deep end and you learn about what's going on as the chapter unfolds – it's a really smart way of storytelling! i also really like the exploration of how SA and trauma can cause ripple effects, from direct survivors to indirect bystanders; and how easy it is to slip into the cycle of a toxic relationship. I do wish there were more recovery chapters or a coming down from all that angst, but the happy ending towards the end did make me clutch my heart in fondness :))))) a great read, definitely worth your time
