It was coming out recently I think? This girl who's been used to being the 'plain' one gets married off to some duke(situation) guy. He seems to not spend time with her or come to her at night, but there's a black cat that comes and so she's not lonely. The duke is actually the black cat, and there's only some people who work at their castle..

Can someone please recommend something where the ml had actual character development to the point you're rooting for them without making excuses or feeling iffy about it?
