At first I hated the Our ML BUT HEAR ME OUT
He was literally throwing a temper tantrum at the beggining. He was testing Inez and was desperate for her attention...he even admitts it. Its not like they were married or lovers. Sure it was an engagement and a promise between their families but if everyone around you is saying that it's normal to have lovers and look down on people who stay loyal, yet you are dedicated to "only fool around before marriage" it means He isn't a complete dirtbag. And the fact the idiot pinned so hard for Inez in all their life He didn't get married in any of them...he is a capital dumbass when it comes to being cunning, but he reads the room so well and he is the type of guy who even if he messed up you can't stay mad with cos he is genuine, emotionally available supportive, caring and loving to the point of his own demise.
